  20. Beast lost his hydrobooster while my wife and I were down in Boise. While I was down in Boise, I made the call and got a hydrobooster ordered, thinking just direct replacement. Nope! Be aware... The documents in the box from NAPA are very clear; you need to swap parts from your old unit to make the new unit work. The shaft that pushes the master cylinder, you might have to swap as I did. The new shaft was 10mm too long, which is the brake dragging issue. Then the rubber boot on the input shaft has be pryed off the input shaft collar. Yea! I got that. Then, the adapter plate that mounts the brake reservoir / master cylinder. The removal was fairly straightforward. 15mm socket for most of it, and remove the 2 nuts holding the master cylinder and reservoir. Carefully pull the whole unit forward with the lines attached. Then 18mm open-end wrench to remove the hydraulic pressure lines from the hydrobooster. Then, pa air of channel locks to grab the hose clamp for the return line. Pull the retun off. Under the dash, pop the brake pedal clip off and release the input rod from the pedal. IMPORTANT! Disconnect the battery so the brake lights don't drain the batteries! Four 15mm nuts are holding the hydrobooster to the firewall. The right top nut has to come from the hole in the top to get the socket in there. I got it removed and ran to NAPA for the new unit ordered... Yeah, there were multiple hangups in comparing the units and swapping parts back and forth on the two units. We ended up being there a little bit while the guys were helping out and getting all the bits and pieces pulled off my OEM unit. I'm going to continue the install tomorrow.

It's really hard to try and keep going here. Sadly with the lost of my shop and building it place a huge strain on trying to even keep Beast in good repair. My original design was just before my cancer I was going to shut down the shop and work on Thor during the winter. Thor now sits in my yard and nothing happening. I've got new terminals for the batteries now just waiting for a good day to do the work. Articles are based on this but im not going to do something to risk my health. This is why the slow down. Anyone who wants to build articles, I'll be willing to credit your account after staff reviews the article and determines it is of quality. Your account will be credited.
  22. My biggest hang up on moving forward is my weight limit and the fact I have no where out of the weather to work. Since my shop was destroyed im still having to pick and choose areas day to cram repairs when it's warm and dry. Winter has been weird.
  23. It would be awesome to have a scan tool or Quadzilla to look at the APPS signal to see if its correct. At idle it should show 0% TPS. Which if there is signal above 0% with the Idle validation set then hence the P0121. You not allowed to be throttling with the idle validation set. That new timbo apps should fix it.
  24. Funny with so many deleting the grid heaters. Crazy part is most think its interfering with air flow but only above 600 HP. Then you might gain like 5 to 10 HP.
  25. This is also the reason my weather tower stopped transmitting signal i changed the password trying to reset the WiFi. Back working again.
