  1. More information about the truck is needed for sure. Mods, any kind of work, mileage, etc. 450 km = 279 miles or roughly 9.3 MPG figuring against 30 gallons of fuel. Ouch... So I need to know what is your fuel pressure and if there is any error codes present? (Yes. Error codes can be present without a check engine light)
  2. Actually they do. I know of several people on the fire crews with long or even longer hair than mine. Even funnier yet my commander was nicknamed "Ponytail Pete" he has a long ponytail but his hair is absolutely white. Local guy and been working with USFS for years!
  3. Rogan from another stand-point. I use to do the computer tech support and computer building till about 08 or 09 when the fuel price took off through the roof. I was losing more money on warranty work and support calls. So I finally dropped away from the computer tech work and switch over to automotive work and web site management because in either case the work came to me and I could work from home then. This sliced off a huge expense and put it back in my pocket. My last conversation just a few days with CajFlynn he said he's really busy. You might try contacting him and see what he's got to say. Lot's of long hours of driving and large expensive boats going cross country.
  4. I'm not quitting yet... Full speed ahead!
  5. As I wrote to Rogan in his Vistor panel...

  13. Heck I'm still on the ball tonight I'm plugging in the 3rd Gen error code diagnostics as we speak. Even on my birthday... http://articles.mopar1973man.com/3rd-generation-dodge-cummins/60-obdii-error-codes @CSM Well we might not have oil or gas here but the gold mines are running big time.
  14. Heck I would gladly start Cummins Salvage Shop. Just everyone is still driving their trucks up here. :rolleyes:All the Duramaxes and Powerstrokes are sitting around yards.
  15. Time to go over the hydraulic system with a fine tooth comb. Check callipers and wheel cylinders for damage or leakage. Brake hoses for damage. Disassemble and clean both callipers and whell cylinders. Check everything for proper fit and for pitting / rusting.
  16. Shhhh... It just a number... I don't really feel that old. I'm rather very active and like being outdoors. But today I wimped out and hung around the computers and surf the web. So tomorrow I'll get my act together and get back out in the shop and get creative. Also got a few repairs to do to the trucks, ATV, and RV yet.
  17. Slowly working adding the procedures. http://articles.mopar1973man.com/3rd-generation-dodge-cummins/60-obdii-error-codes AH64ID you might double check over these too as they get plugged in.
  18. Now just show up at my door and I'll have a cold one with you. Thanks gang... As the day comes to a close all I've done today is nothing... Just worked the computers and web sites. Raining and snowing. Most I've done was got a load of firewood and hauled it over to the main house to keep warm and dry. As for my B-Day present... Here is what I picked up for myself. Not to mention I already Linux'ed it up. Another light weight computer to my pile.
