  1. Prowelder... http://forum.mopar1973man.com/members/123-Prowelder But I haven't seen him in awhile you might try sending him a PM and see if he's still building them.
  2. Old Thread I know but just wanted to add some video to this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLqGwhn9eek
  3. Yes I screwed up...With the sudden change of weather and cold temperatures I winterized the RV in a hurry and didn't check everything out. I did drain all the lines, tanks (water, black, greys, and water heater). But what I forget to do is check that all accessories where OFF before plugging back in the RV to 120 VAC power again so there the water heater sat running empty for over 24 hours and lucky enough nothing got hot enough to cause a fire nor did it seem to burn out the element. It was still warm to the touch on the tank. So I'll assume the water heater is not damaged for now and find out in the spring of the year. When your done winterizing make sure everything is turned OFF.
  4. You could always just have a fresh driveshaft built for it. Maybe aluminum?
  5. No luck here...Just listen to the radio to a single vehicle roll over accident just a few miles from my place. Then had to quick run down to the fire house and take care of the water tower, turn the heater on, and quickly look of the trucks. Whew!
  6. You want to talk to ISX he's the 12V guru on site here...
  7. Air flow will little to no good being the electronics are mount against the fuel side of the plate and there is air gap, plastic housing, then a aluminum cover. So air flow is not going to really change the temps much but fuel flow will.
  8. Well Idaho got its first now. As I type this message the snow is falling and sticking in the yard. So in a hurry this morning I got my winter 265's put on, installed the grill winter fronts, and need to change a thermostat. So is your truck ready for the winter cold and snow?I still want to crawl under check both diff's, transfer case, transmission, and grease the driveline. Then I'll think I'll be ready for old man winter.
  9. You might double check all connectors... Use the wiring diagram to see all the connectors.
  10. I would consider havig the ECM reflashed so you can verify that the proper software is installed for your truck configuration.
  11. And I thought I had a train... Dripley has me beat this time. Longer and heavier!
  12. Welcome to the family here. I'm sure if you ask question on of the guys here will bail in and give it his best shot.
  13. :piwwp:Shows us... Pictures are great...
  14. With a failed ECM the voltage will be all normal but the live data from the OBDII port will be one extreme or another. As for the limited throttle response CajFlynn had a ECM fail and cause the same thing. As for the AC high side switch its not even connected to the ECM or engine wiring. The AC hi and lo switch is connected to the PCM.
  15. That's awesome. A 12 Year old girl protect herself form a intruder. Crime would be much lower if every own a weapon of some sort. It could of much worse if the family did not own a weapon and very possible this new report could be very different about a "Death".
  16. Might want to check the other reverse light bulb and socket for issues.I wish I had books that go that far back. You might have to hit a Toyota site and see if there is any help in the way of wiring diagrams.Anyone else take a crack at this?
  17. My MPG's are good both ways empty (21-22 MPG) or towing (12-14 MPG).
  18. Exactly. I got the small genny for batteries and small appilances I rarely use my microwave at home or in the RV.
  19. Well said... Yes I had to pick on you a bit. But both saws are very coomon out here. Also its like the Dodge, Ford and Chevy thing every one is picky about brands. But the fact of the matter do the tool get the job done? Sure it does!
  20. :rolleyes:Sthl all the way baby... 2-3 pull on full choke. Few pops. High idle mode pull it one more time and she is a running. Lay it down have lunch and first pull she's fired back up.
  21. Well I can tell you my 2Kw genny will not fire the microwave, water heater, or the A/C.But my larger 4.5Kw genny will fire everything in the RV no problems.
  22. From what I've heard there is like 40 different softwares out there with different emission controls, Cal, Fed, etc. Would be best to flash it.
  23. Experience of this last pull with the RV...Cruise set at 55 MPH, Edge Comp set at 5x3, RV275 Injectors, and I could climb over mild grade in 5th gear. Now the 2 larger grades I would shift down to 4th gear and rarely did I get to 1,100*F. The weather was cool 45-60*F on both trip to and from.
