  1. Here take a look from Drag Coeffiency... http://forum.mopar1973man.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=885 This is taking a stock 2500 or 3500 dodge truck no lift or body changes... Nor Drag Co. is .45 or so. But you add trailers, slide in camper, lift kits, etc will change the Co. number upwards rapidily. No notice the relation to speed and HP required to keep the speed. 55 MPH they are all about the same but now increase to 75 MPH it starts to change. The other factor here that is not being added it the frontal area which I assume stock frontal area but if you got a lift kit, leveling kit, trailers, this changes the curve really quick. Side Note: ISX I need you to build a Drag C. spread sheet with the graph and be able to plug in numbers...
  2. As for the injectors there are many people that get 200-300K miles on a set of injectors without much issues. I could but I don't think you'll get much hits... I'd love to... Just let me know and I'll keep a eye on the fishing holes...
  3. I told ISX he needs to create a Excel sheet that does the fuel mileage log like what I got... then another one is to a maintenance log... The current software I got is really slow since my MySQL table has rather large now...http://www.lonewolf-software.com/automotivewolf.htm I'm sure ISX can build a better Excel sheet...
  4. One of those additive is a anti-scorching compound to allow the ATF fluid to take on high heat from the torque convertors. Then the fricition modifiers that help make the clutch packs stick better. Dorkweed and AH64ID ar both right ATF is NOT intended yo burn not like 1970's... Then the other problem is it dyes the fuel red which in turn might it you in trouble with Johnny Law... Yes in Idaho I heard of a few random check on farm trucks...
  5. See now that you over come this issue now you now know of a few secrets that you can pass on to the next person. Sorry to hear you had to go through all this but I'm glad you learned from the experience nad now can pass it on to someone else!
  6. I know there is most of us getting into 150K miles to 300K miles from a pump. To have a VP44 fail in under 100K there is something wrong... * No fuel pressure gauge to monitor the lift pump perforamnce.* Allowing the fuel pressure to fail to or below 10 PSI for extended periods.* Poor filter performance. Suggest you use only fleetguard stratpore filters or better.* Poor fuel lubricity. <400 HFRR is Bosch standards and today fuel is ~520 HFRR.* Excessive usage of injection cleaner, cetane boosters, and anti-gel products. Currently at 121K on the VP44 clock and still pulling strong...
  7. I used this map that ISX suppied me...
  8. ISX the mad scienist... The video should of been how a Ford Diesel works because the ford has glow plugs... Well the idea is sound but the problem is the price of pecans are spendy and then process them...
  9. I'll have to look in the morning... I'll try to remember... :banghead:
  10. Boy talk about low cetane fuel... It took a lot of heat to get that little pecan to ignite but it did ignite rather explosively. Shocking to see how long a single pecan burns... That's a lot of calories in one nut! I better stop eating them... I'll feed them to my Cummins...
  11. I just hauled this in I cruised 55 MPH the whole way home and the pyro was running 1,000 to 1,100 the whole way home... I grimaced to even look at the SGII and it displayed 13.1 MPG (For the day) and 15.2 MPG (for the tank)... Ugh... That hurts... But I done several good trips my best all time record is 25.3 MPG.. But take notice there is no entry below 14 MPG... The thing that is killing me are these 265/75 R16 Cooper STT tires they weigh nearly a extra 20 pound per wheel compared to mt 235/85 R16 which I can hit the 20 MPG as a usual thing... But my highway tires are horrid when it comes to skidding trees, and climbing offroad on even grass and weeds...
  12. I went through you updates and I love it you did a awesome job on the sheets for gear ratio and information... Really handy ISX!
  13. I'm not a big fan of the spinter body style but they do make awesome work rigs... Sad to see Big Corps. shutting down different model of vehicles...
  14. Yes... The PCM ground is on the passenger battery... Look at pin 31 and Pin 32 both go to the ground on the passenger battery...
  15. Right here... http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/dealers/dealers.htm
  16. Lalala... So I missed the first post... I really curious too... I bet he's dying to see the Brown Truck show up...
  17. AH64ID could you get so good pics of that turbo and maybe do a write up of the turbo install I'm sure there is more people that would love to read up on this...
  18. I informed the owner of it and he said he would look into it but I never heard back yet... I gave him a business card with the web address so...
  19. No joke time to feed the beast... (@ ISX) But I got to admit your truck idles really smooth at about 620 RPM...
  20. You mean like this... 2002 MAP on the left and 2001 MAP on right Then the adapter cord in the background. 2002 MAP on the left and 2001 MAP on right Then the adapter cord in the background. 2001 Map Sensor and the adapter cord... Yeap I got one on my truck now...
  21. That right there speaks volumes... The fact they won't acknowledge the fact of that limitation then you know someone is BS'ing... Hey Bank's you might want to wipe the corner of your mouth you've got a little bulls__t running down your cheek...
  22. Unless it wasn't really rebuilt... I've seen that in my computer supplier for PC's. I ordered a new power supply and ended up with someones old RMA'ed blown up junk power supply. Yeah it pissed mt off but I realized if some places something on counter and accidently get shipped out OPPS...
  23. The only thing I could suggest is to call the vendors on the list and see if they happen to know of a good spot... I'm sure they hear tale of these kind of things all the time...
  24. Your good for the time being... Stay in the green zone...
