Strange codes
Here is the VP44 error codes I could fine... http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/2ndgen24v/vp44-replace/vp44-error.htm But there is always the rare case the VP44 is going nuts... Now as for the error codes you might double check the P0122 code... http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/2ndgen24v/apps/apps-codes.htm The P0117 is ECT sensor volts are low. Is there a broken wire?

Pictures of your truck!
Hey gang... Lets see some pictures of your truck. Now there is a catch though.. I want to see pictures of your truck working hard. I don't want to see the glossy show and shine pics. I want to see some good hard working truck that get dirty and get the job done... Also remember there is a photo gallery here... http://forum.mopar1973man.com/album.php Because I've got a wild hair thinking about creating a video of our truck and how they work hard... So let gather up those pictures. If you got videos to share with the group you can with youtube but I might ask you for a copy of the video too so I might use it...

Which Web Hosting Plan to Go With Starting Out???
That's a way of holding on to a few nickles till it time... yeah you really don't need the hosting till its ready... As a matter of fact I could even set you up with a temp. Domain name so I can login to your computer and help you work through you problems... http://www.dyndns.com/ This software will give you a domain name so then you can temporary host your VB to the net and allow people like me to aid you while you doing your construction... Another crazy idea from M73M...

On a tight budget - Power Puck Question
Nope sound correct and good... The sound you might be hearing is a mild form of turbo bark as you winding up tight and getting high boost and dump you foot out of the throttle the turbo starts spining down rapidily and the compressed air tries to excape back out the turbo. As for boost pressure soon good too 31 PSI I'm pulling 34 PSI with my Edge comp...

Vbulletin email, online, and phone support........is it worth the extra money???
I personally don't think its worth it (IMHO) but you might take it... As for common setup and control issues you could hit there support forum for free at... http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/ Or got to the offical mod forum... http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/portal.php Usually you can get a answer to your problems but even then don't expect instant results. Typically I hang back with all updates to see how bad or buggy it is before I hop forward to the next sub level.

Power Steering Fades Out
Separate systems... If the nydro boost goes out techincally the brake would loose the booseter thats all the brakes will still function but take more effort to stop. But there is another problem if there is a system failure with debris involved then the debris is pumped system wide and both systems will take on damage including the pump. Remember the only thing that lubes the part is the fluid... Then there is is no filter in the system... so it best to change PS fluid about once a year or 30K miles...

Which Web Hosting Plan to Go With Starting Out???
I would start there... They allow upgrade as you go along... Like myself I was there for over 2 years and then just resently I made a upgrade in plan because of my heavy load of members. The enocomy plan allows up to 50 people on a one time. But the deluxe plan allows for 100 people on at one time...

I'm spending some good money so I become a a/C recharge center here in the valley since no one does here. But on with my project as soon as the rest of my tools get here I'll be on the road to starting the project.

fuel system setup Q's
Like here is Idaho I'm been checking directly with fuel provider and found that on average the cloud point is 32*F for summer fuel. Funny part is our morning temp float right close to 29*F to 35*F yet. So as you drive you see a mild loss in fuel pressure. Now I've kept my stock filter housing and it does help in warming the fuel up in the tank. So in about 15 miles the fuel pressure starts to rise. Now theeletric heater runs till 60-70*F and shuts down. So after that the filter housing heats the fuel by heat soak from the block.

Exhaust brake question?
I remember long ago over on CF.com someone had produced there own exhaust brake but I've never seen anything about it again... I know exhausr brakes are spendy but the saving on brake part in just a few years makes it worth it... Like myself I've not changed my brake pad since I bought my truck brand new... 167K miles and still got pads yet... I figure my first brake pad change with be at 200K miles roughly...

Quick Question Regarding Codes...
My infromation is from the Dodge FSM book and it listed right here... http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/2ndgen24v/obd2-error-codes/obd2-error-codes.htm Listed under the "Self Erasing Of Error Codes" heading...
-
Quick Question Regarding Codes...
Actually its after 40 warm up cycles... So actually you should get those batteries cleaned up and charged. Then reset the codes and see what comes back... If the error codes are real they will return right away in about 5-10 minutes of run time. If not they will remain gone...

Are newer 3rd gen etc. Steering Boxes compatible with 2nd Gen?
Don't feel bad mine is getting there over time... but I'm keeping a close eye on the PS fluid and making sure the color doesn't change and looking for metalic debris (None - good thing!) But due for a PS fluid change. As for the adjustment don't get carried away and over tighten the adjustment it will cause damage to the steering box.
