Bad week
Any update on this yet? Amen brother... I'm in the same boat... The Computer industry is shot right now no one has $500 to $1,000 to lay down on new computer... So the autmotive repairs and doing A/C recharging is keeping a few nickles in my pockets...

Random Bucking
How about common stuff like bad grounds? The APPS system ground is buried behind the starter on the engine block.

I am gonna take the oil pan drain plug and throw it as far as I can...........
The only reason I didn't do the valve... Is because of all the logs, branches, and debris I drive over it would really suck to have a stick or limb swing the valve open on you..

Charge A/C System AGAIN.....I think the compressor may be bad.
Funny you should mention this I had a long conversation with Pepsi (from over at CF.com) on the phone about this very same problem. He discharge a little bit of freon at a time from the high side while the A/C was running. During this time he kept a IR laser thermometer on the drier and low side pipe watching the temps. During this short little burst of discharge he said that there was huge amount of oil coming out of the high side coating his hand as you see the freon kind of bubble out of it turning to gasous state. Once it got down near 40* he stopped. Now the net result is that he said the grunting noise is nerarly gone when you turn on the A/C for the first time. But the dash temps were about 45*F ... I would personally think of evac the system and then start over from bottom up like Flman suggest then you know exactly how much of each you got oil and freon...

Boost
Boost fooler is anything the connects between the MAP sensor and the ECM lead. Could be a simple adapter (voltage regulator) or it could be a split loom that goes to a Edge comp or simular.

Anyone seen tis or have one?
That's what I thought... * Boost* EGT* Oil Pressure But for 1 gauge at that price naw... I still rather have separate gauges... The digital part is probaly really slow updating like Edge with Juice or my ScanGauge II... Analog Mechanical Gauges are the best bar none...

Thoughts about VP44 timing...
This is some of the grey area I'm still trying to find info on yet... But I can give yo this much... http://forum.mopar1973man.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=795 Here is the relationship to MAP sensor / boost pressure and RPM's... I know the IAT sensor tends to effect the timing too because on cold days because it knocks hard when the air temp is low and coolant is low. But once the IAT starts to rise a bit then it seetles a bit but still knocks hard... Now shut the Edge Comp off and the knock is gone...

Bars
Yeah... I'm messing around with a old mod from vB3.84 that finally made it back to vB4... It still in Beta testing phases yet but I figure I would try...
