  1. MP3's on a Cellphone are better than nothing. There is always a backup plan for me.
  2. I wanted to say that too but it could be a PDC fuse too.
  3. On the common rail truck they have TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module) which controls a lot of different things on the truck. The best person I can say to talk to is @Chris O. since he's the site CCD Network guru. I know that Common rail trucks run a totally different network but the principal is still the same just more features and options to play with. No first hand knowledge here either... Sorry.
  4. Yeah if you building yourself H1 Mini's if your ordering form RetroShop do the D2S...
  5. They are completely illegal for highway use. There is no way to properly use an HID bulb without the projector part. This is what controls the beam and pattern. I don't see any projector lens in that kit...
  6. Did you check your fuses with a test light? Check both sides the PDC and the interior cab fuse panel.
  7. Welcome @ThunderThighs to the Mopar1973Man Web Site... Ok. Lets start with basics then... Any error codes present? Just because there is no CEL doesn't mean there are stored codes. What is your fuel pressure at idle and under WOT operation? Let's make sure we are getting good fuel pressure. How many miles are on the truck? It's possible the injectors are plain worn out and need replacing. You might fill in your signature so other know what you have for a truck.
  8. I wouldn't bother with HY35 turbo too much. Yeah, the J hook can be installed but you have to limit your boost to 30-32 PSI because of the small 9cm2 housing on the exhaust side. Even HX35 would be a much better turbo allowing 35 PSI and 12cm2 exhaust housing. Better EGT's on the bigger housing but slightly more lag time.
  9. This kind of wiring issues will create either P0237 or P0238 error codes.
  10. Pictures are all missing in your photobucket account...
  11. I remember long ago with a 2 Cycle Oil Theory... Battled for a long time. Now it @Me78569 pioneering the high pop pressure injectors and Quadzilla tunning...
  12. Absolutely Correct! So many people get hung up on wind chill.
  13. Something that should go to the Database... For all staff to know there is a "Moderator Action" now that gives the option to copy to database. So using this function now without asking a member to do it I got @marked23 post put to the database in less than a few seconds. Thank you @marked23 for the wonderful tip!!!
  14. Also, contact @pepsi71ocean and have him add the business to his listing for good ECM / PCM suppliers.
  15. I'm almost 326k miles on the 2002... I think I cross that line today when I get fuel in Ontario, OR. RV275 to +75HP you can easily tune out the smoke with most any tuner... Personally, I would still jump up to the Quadzilla Adrenaline. Way better control of fuel and timing even if you don't tap the wire. Since I replace my VP44 I've not tapped my wire for nearly a full year now. Getting itchy though... Gotta get that plate back on. Yeah that is true. Exhaust brake work much better on a manual than autos. Typically only 3rd and 4th lock up will work. You can modify the transmission to do 2nd gear as well.
  16. I love the old block heater trick too. Too bad my cord is shot. That is a neat idea using the shop vacuum for blowing pressure in the fuel tank. Never thought of that idea. So I'll contribute by saying for those guys attempting to put the VP44 nuts back on between the block and the VP44. simple trick is wrap a small piece of electrical tape around the nut and this will make the nut fit snug on the socket. This works best with a 6 side socket. Now you can route the extension and socket in without dropping the nut.
  17. The problem is if I leave it unrestricted people would continue to just keep uploading photos and files non-stop regardless of being a repeat. The server would quickly become full and we will have to buy into a larger hard drive increasing the cost of operation. Hence this why donation member gain more storage space being they contribute to the site. Member is 25 MB of storage Silver is 50 MB of storage Gold is 100 MB of storage Platinum is 250 MB of storage
  18. When you make a post on the site all your images are stored in your personal file area. So there is a button in the lower right saying "Insert other Media" when you click on it gives two choices insert existing attachment and insert image URL. You want to select insert existing attachment. So this pops up now you can select from any image that you have in your storage. Instead of uploading multiple images that are the same.
  19. With my probe in the 4, 5, 6 position just a couple of days ago I use 3 CYL mode and I was pushing over 900*F EGT's.
  20. Nice RV. Just make sure to park it on the highest piece of ground you can so its not flooded out too. Worse yet washed down river.
  21. Simply... It fools the IAT to a higher temperature to imitate summer conditions which retards the timing. Excessive timing tends to pull the MPG's down.
  22. Should of reused some out of the file pile you got...
