  1. Better be higher... Just to pop the injectors on VP44 is 310 bar. Just checking 18,000 PSI which I've seen on CR engines as a measured high pressure turns into...
  2. Time for pictures of what you are doing...
  3. didn't try again but later on...
  4. Built a tune starting at a 100% and using 2% exponential growth. Still in the 1,000 to 1,499 is the nasty miss. Like after completely warming it up and driving back in my driveway it was missing right at 1,100 RPM's. Another spot on a frontage road driving slow around 25 MPH it missing good. Touch the Quadzilla to ZERO it's gone... I know its a Quadzilla issue. If I turn it to level 0 its gone. If I unplug the Quadzilla completely its gone.
  5. Dang Dripley your head and shoulders above... (Just gotta poke at ya! )
  6. Typically the AirDog pump doesn't whine. If it's that loud you might want to investigate a bit more. Make sure the AirDog not in contact of the cab floor. You might make sure it on the inside of the frame rail. What is your current fuel pressure idling and WOT (at highway speeds)? It could be excessive high fuel pressure making the pump whine. They make a series for 12V which are capable of producing 30-40 PSI which is way too high for the VP44 which is happy at 15-17 PSI.
  7. All 1998.5 to 2002 can be enabled for high idle there are no limitations. THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO ALL RAM TRUCKS BUILT AFTER DECEMBER 17,1997 AND EQUIPPED WITH THE 24-VALVE 5.9L CUMMINS DIESEL ENGINE. Here is the TSB document show the Dealer tech how to enable the high idle.
  8. Agreed... But this stems back from the Ed Grafton days too. He was dreaming of some neat things could be done on the Quadzilla tuner because of it abilities on the CanBus lead. I remember him talking about how the Quadzilla tuner could do much much more and work on the CANBus with more than just the engine and just need some software changes.
  9. Well, at least they will have the proper cut off and focused hot spot on the highway compared to LED headlight kits. But if you going through all the trouble of baking the lens off the headlight housing might as well pony up and get the HID's. What's the going price on the LED Mormoto's? Didn't see the link the first time $425 for a set...
  10. I'm not too impressed with the LED pattern. The HID still brighter and wider.
  11. Most here are drug free owners. No meth/water or Nitrous... Most are building power fuel only or fuel electronics.
  12. I use to clean my sensors too years ago. Now I just watch the live data for sensor issues.
  13. Now you going to make me go back out and verify my numbers... I'm pretty sure its 18* on level 1 and up. Then level 0 is 13-14* on my truck.
  14. Ok. I've done some digging. Default tune doesn't have this problem. It's clean. More you drop the 0 PSI or 1 PSI fuel timing makes it lopey off idle. I'm curious of what the timing setting is for the 1,000 to 1,499 bracket since there isn't one. Timing spikes high to 18* roughly in this bracket. My 1,500 position is set for 15* so with low cruise timing add then 18 would sound correct for 1,500 and up. But not correct for 1,000 to 1,499 range.
  15. Fan pulley bearing? Pull the belt and check all your pulleys for bearing looseness. There is nothing under that valve cover that would squeak. Maybe the vacuum pump or power steering pump that is the only things that rotate on the driver side outside the block.
  16. Your not setup very well in that picture. Trailer tongue is high. Nose pointing upwards and swatting...
  17. Edge Comp states do not tow on level 5. I towed on level 5x5 for over 10 years never caused any problems. Best fuel mileage was always on the highest setting.
  18. 1250*F is what is considered safe. I typically hold at about 1,200*F. My limit on the Quadzilla is set at 1,300*F. All I can say is time for a compression test and find out what cylinders are damaged. Then you'll most likely pull the engine out to be rebuilt or those cylinders repaired.
  19. That is something I can try as well. Maybe that is the problem right there the CANBus fueling is not limiting correctly for some reason. I could try building a tune that is well above my current 85% start and see if it goes away. Then build another tune that is cut a bit deeper like 70% and see if it gets worse. I bet this is the whole problem.
  20. EDIT Again... When your HX35/40 break a tire loose... LOL. Been there done that...
  21. That's for the LED mode lights. Totally optional if you want to hook them up or not.
  22. Sad part is you'll still need to wash it out with the radiator is out to get it clean up right...
  23. My 31 foot is just as bad but much lighter than yours Dripley.
  24. Same down here. New Meadows to Ontario, OR. This nasty smoke visibility is low.
