  1. Give me a little time and I'll build a write up about it really soon.
  2. Another vote for removing all the old versions on the iQuad app it would reduce the confusion. Then categorize all the existing and remain versions.
  3. Up north Cummins engines are idled for many hours in the subzero temperatures. Basically the oil pressure low limits are 10 PSI at idle and 30 PSI at 2,000 RPM's.
  4. This song fits me...
  5. I'm an open carry person. I cross back and forth into Oregon state all the time for MoparMom's dialysis treatments. I'm not going to let any law enforcement officer or government official just decide to remove my firearm from me. Kind of like my trip down to Parma, ID for the eclipse event and meeting @JAG1 and @IBMobile I was still open carrying my pistol even then. Where I live 911 call could be an hour wait for help. So it up to myself to protect my family and me.
  6. I'll admit. Daniel (IBMobile) and Jennifer are wonderful people. After spending the time installing his injection pump and working on his truck its been a pleasure spending time with Daniel and Jennifer. Of course, MoparMom and Jennifer went their own direction to enjoy conversation and IBMobile and I got busy getting at injection pump installed. I wish I could spend more time with them and show them more around the area I'm sure they would have enjoyed the experience. Maybe another time we can build another get-together camping trip where we all can enjoy some free time. Be safe Daniel and Jennifer and enjoy your vacation trip...
  7. This is the only thing I will disagree with. The injector to connector tube seal would only leak into the return rail. The leakage on the manifold would only be the high pressure line to connector tube or the o-ring. Now if there is a puddle of fuel on the cap area of the nut it will expand out and weep on the manifold. Typically in about a week time it will dry up and be fine. You can check with a can of brake clean on a warm engine then drive again if it continues to get wet then its connector tube or o-ring issues.
  8. Hmmm... Typically the sensor unscrews from the banjo. I've never seen a sensor that replaces the banjo out right. So you should be able to unscrew the sensor and replace it with a 1/8" NPT plug. BANJO BOLT - TAPPED - 12MM
  9. @MoparMom is a bit on the deaf side... Might be a good thing she'll know I've gotten home. Also, the louder exhaust will make my presence known to wildlife on the highway. One of the reasons I'm leaning back to the straight pipe exhaust. Typically I'm not a city person so I'm not really worried about the noise outside the truck. Just drone and cab loudness. My old 3" was great straight piped and really got quiet with the 3" NAPA muffler which was nice but then again wildlife became more of an issue. @Taz has a 4" straight pipe exhaust with a 5" tip sounds good on the highway and in the cab, it's not bad at all. Deer and other animal tend to take notice of the sound of the truck more when it got a note that is loud enough.
  10. Need to speak up people are you might lose your ability to carry a fire arm. I'm a open carry person and refuse to let any law enforcement to just take away my fire arm for no reason. http://silenceisconsent.net/oregon-governor-just-signed-gun-confiscation-law-needs-go-viral/
  11. Back up and running fresh VP44 installed... (Left Daniel - IBMobile, Middle MoparMom, Right Jennifer) During the replacement phase...
  12. Ummm... So which one did you do of both?
  13. Thank you for the wonderful comments... I'll get that post moved over very soon... Done... Now in article form here.
  14. No. Like right now I'm fighting an alternator AC issue but by the time the alternator cools the AC noise drops back to normal levels. Like yesterday I was hauling the RV home and the under hood temps were rather high. The cruise control was making some weird changes coasting in the wrong times then accelerating at other times when it should be coasting. Once the alternator cooled off as I got to Council, ID and there was cooler air the problem disappeared. So no it's not always a constant everyday problem and this is why I highly suggest you do not use any wiring mods or ground relocations because you are capable of sensing the problem early and given plenty of warning of the issue.
  15. @Shainer could I move this over to the article database please?
  16. I know you guys went to the 19.5 for the wear factor. So curious what size are you running of tire and wheels. At the rate I'm going I might jump in this pool at some time. Be cool to see links of products you guy bought too.
  17. I'll double check for that. Seem I started this show with the CANBus plug wired backwards.
  18. I'd be concerned about the valve being bent too. Being the piston had to of hit the valve at the point it was stuck open.
  19. I'm looking at the MBRP exhaust system right now. They have a full line of stainless steel exhaust system from single to duals. With and without mufflers (single).
  20. Well... On my way home tonight my exhaust system started to fall apart. I lost the section between the muffler and the U section over the axle. Time to give up on the old stock pipe and replace it completely. I need a 4 inch exhaust system that comes with a flow through muffler and straight pipe. I'm wanting something that is designed to combat road salt and rusting for a long time. Time to see what you all suggest for the exhaust system. At this point, my truck is parked and I'll be using the 96 Dodge Ram 1500 for the time being till I get the new exhaust or manage to make a turn down for my existing system. So I need to get to work tomorrow on @IBMobile VP44 install.
  21. Might get rid off all the versions that are obsolete or not suppose to be used. Would be nice if all versions where in categories. Seems like a long smudge of different versions, years, etc for Dodge. Few for Ford and Chevy.
  22. Might read my post again. When I get home in going to grab the dielectric grease.
  23. I have to ask how in the neck did you mess up a pushed? There is no reason to mess with the valve train to install injectors.
  24. Ok. To clear up the idea of noise I've combined both the OBDLink and iQuad on my LG G5 phone being it can handle two blue devices at once. Still randomly iQuad app refuses to start even if it's the only Bluetooth signal. Still randomly seeing the message of couldn't connect to the device. Eventually enough trying to connect I does finally start and continue to load all 43 items and now display gauges. Then I can fire up the OBDLink app and it connects instantly. Still the iQuad app randomly struggles to hook up on Bluetooth signal.
