This is fixable, right?
Being a 12V fuel shutoff relay is located on the cowl on the driver side about 1/3 of the way over. What make the difference is if the relay is hung up-side-down which will allow water to leak into it. Also if your missing the cowl weather strip this problem is worse.

Could really use some help - Engine knock
If you had a way to drag it down here to me I more than be willing to drop a engine in for you. I've got the tools, the shop and even the hoist for it. You find a long block I'll stuff it in for you.

Rail Pressure Troubleshooting
Between weak batteries, bad battery cables and failing alternator with excessive AC noise will create your issues. Alternator AC voltage should be roughly 0.01 to 0.03 AC volts, marginal is 0.05 AC volts complete failure is 0.1 AC volts and above. Bad battery terminals and cables can be tested by doing a voltage drop test. As for the batteries they need to be load tested. If any fails replace both.

$1.79
Come to my neighborhood there is so many people without jobs and on welfare it would make most people sick to look at. I was helping a friend that works at the local Chevron Station and they closed down early on the shop side at 2pm because no business. Let's say for the day day they made less than $100 in sales. Business is not going good locally at all. Unemployment is very high here. Friend of mine that lives in Walla Walla WA his wife just lost her job as a Manager at the Taco Bell and now been reduced to normal worker because she was making too much money and corporate couldn't pay her any longer. So, either had a choice get fired or get reduced. Another gent I went to look at a vehicle admitted to being super slow and they really need the income from the fishing torment that is coming soon.

Winter is coming
Been in the 40s for most of this week and majority of the snow here in the yard is gone. I'm glad I was getting tired of the ice skating rink of the front porch to the driveway below. My lower back is still reminding me about those few close calls.

New member introduction/reccomended maintenance
Drive shafts if factory will be sealed units no grease zerks. I tend to like the slightly tight number tad bit quieter engine and seem like the exhaust brake works just a bit better. Measure at the BATT stud on the alternator and the case or passenger negative terminal. 0.01 to 0.03 AC Volts is normal. 0.05 AC Volts is marginal strange things might start to occur like lock up issues randomly. 0.1 AC Volts is a fail. CajFlynn - 2001 Dodge Ram ended its life at 1.3 Million miles. Taz - 1992 Dodge Ram sold with over 650k miles on it.

New member introduction/reccomended maintenance
4WD only has 3 zerks. Two upper ball joints and one track bar. You can try my Crankcase Vent Mod. Fairly easy to build and works very well. The only thing I didn't see is valve lash. Take the time check the valve lash. Then take another quick moment and check the alternator for excessive AC noise. I'm like you I want to make it to the moon and back. I've got 257k on the clock now and the Moon is only roughly 238k. So I'm on my way back home now.

Weekend Help
Heck I just landed a intake manifold job on a V6 Dodge Truck. Manifold is sucking oil from the cam valley. (Oil in the manifold) and has a good misfire from the vacuum leak too.

On the Hunt for a Slide in Popup camper
Seriously I would go to a local RV dealer and try on a few slide in campers. Floor plan and layout are very important. What good is it to have a slide in camper you do fit or your not comfortable in. Maybe the storage options to don't work for you? At least take the time and look at a dealer first for designs and try them out. Then when your shopping used you can know what works and don't work. Kind of like myself I wondered the dealer lot for over 4-5 hours in NEW RV's before we started looking at USED. Then when I walked in the door I knew right away I found my "Beast" I wanted. Full size queen bed, nice large living area, kitchen you can cook in easy. Plenty of water and holding tank capacity. Just seeing JAG1 setup I was very impressed with his slide in Camper. Lots of water, wet bath (kind of expect that), good amount of holding tank. His was very comfortable. But much larger than a pop up. Look back here...

Mopar vs Aftermarket Parts
- Replace / Repair odb ii connector
I've got a wire diagram in the General Cummins section for CCDnetwork. Moved here.- Mopar vs Aftermarket Parts
Just like the cheap RockAuto stuff I'm using... No issues.- Lift pump leak
Just replace the lift pump. It's most likely wore out.- Is it worth adding 2-cycle oil to a P7100 truck?
That's because 2 cycle oil is a natural cetane reducer. This causes the fuel to burn slower. High cetane fuel is like striking the piston with a hammer. Sudden blow.- Mopar vs Aftermarket Parts
Lets say there is times to look towards dealer for parts, there is time to hit your local part store and there is times to come here and ask what is best. Like in my shock I was trying to buy a key lock for my 1996 Dodge Ram Truck come to find out NAPA wanted $85 bucks locally. That's when I went over to RockAuto and got a key lock for $34 shipped. Kind of like NAPA selling VP44 injection pumps for nearly $2000 bucks when you can buy a quality pump from one of the site vendors.- When was the last time you lifted the hood?
All I can say is Wow!- Could really use some help - Engine knock
Rebuild what you got... I'm going to beat most of what you got is still in good shape other than #6 piston is damaged. So only one bore to be sleeved. The rest I bet could be honed out and put to service again with fresh rings and bearings.- Could really use some help - Engine knock
Ouch! - Replace / Repair odb ii connector
