  1. It's not you. Me and my father are on edge 24/7. The news is terrible, what's happening in our country and around the world is terrible. There is unrest in the USA and we feel it. Uncertain of our finances and our rights as Americans. It's especially tough for us conservatives, watching the leadership and youth destroy our country from within...my 2 cents. My family continues to work hard and be more vocal about our values and principles, and also try to be as politically incorrect as possible in public haha
  2. VCP? Vitrified clay pipe? Orange?
  3. Nations alternators, brand new, no core, $280, use factory belt. http://www.nationsstarteralternator.com/180-Amp-HP-High-Output-Alternator-for-2000-Dodge-p/13874-180-hp.htm 10% off too
  4. I want to see a picture of your cuda haha. I've heard of 6.0 fords with sand in the motors leading to coolant issues, but they have issues anyways.
  5. The 57mm borg warner extended tip is supposed flow as much or more than a holset hx40 (60mm). I was expecting the seat of the pants feeling and flow that my old setup had with the 60mm wheel and cover. Still testing the super b, but it definitely dropped egts and is more efficient than the wh1c. There is always the possibility down the road to upgrade to the 62mm wheel and cover Cummins still pulls like a champ!
  6. So I installed a bd super b 57/65/14 (s300g) a couple weeks ago and have put a couple hundred miles on it so far. Towed a dump trailer this week put some good highway miles on it, it wasn't a huge improvement over my holset wh1c 58/60/14 non gated. Spool is a litter better, fuel economy is a little better, it whistles louder and pulls a little better. The biggest gain is the drop in egts, dropped a couple hundred degrees. I still like it and it is an improvement but not what I was hoping for. The 60mm cover and wheel on my wh1c lit faster and pulled harder...but surged like crazy, hence it being sold. I'll report back this weekend after I abuse the super b this weekend, now that it's broken in Oh ya, install was a pain. The waste gate arm was hitting the oil drain tube, even after clocking the center section in every way. I had to heat the tube with a torch and used pliers to crimp it down about an 1/8". I still only have about a 1/16" of clearance. Then, the drain tube didn't line up with the tube on the block, so I had to cut the drain tube back and order 7/8" ID hose from CPP to make it line up right. That special 7/8" ID oil resistant hose is impossible to find locally and isn't cheap...
  7. Do you have the cummins barring tool? Rotate the assembly and look through the port as you rotate. Red loctite the bolts? One of mine came loose and it worked its way out, then I used red loctite and no issues.
  8. I forget which one I used, but it helps! I installed a 5" exhaust, 4" hx40 downdpipe and muffler and the drone and noise was crazy! FTE resonator took care of all the problems. I'll measure today, but I think I just used the smaller one.
  9. I'm not ready!!!
  10. cascade transmission http://www.cascadetransmissionparts.com/a61847rh-re.aspx make sure it's for your year truck
  11. If you are going to get another 24v in the future, edge comp all the way. But, you'd have to upgrade your driveline too. Automatic or manual? A box/programmer really wakes up the truck and makes it much better for any type of driving.
  12. Ya, but it's always nice to have a project. If I didn't have a Dodge in the garage, there would be something else. The best thing with a Cummins is that the power adders can also net better fuel economy, that's awesome!
  13. I'm sad to hear that. I thought sumps were supposed to be the cats meow
  14. These officers must have been green horns or not from the area. This is terrible
  15. Just a sealer. I had to put some RTV or some sealant on the thermostat housing to keep it from weeping. Picture of the leak?
  16. Centramtics took care of my wheel balance issues
  17. ohh this good. Does fluid coupling and stall speed of the converter play a role too? My low stall shifts way too soon if if this controller can hang the gears a little longer this would be great!
  18. This sucks. We can't have the good people in this country against the police too like everyone else. You know this is going to hit the federal level and be another scapegoat for gun control and a federal police force...
  19. Anyone ever use one of those inline filters on the return lines?
  20. Keep fighting, keep being active! My uncle has MS and sitting around all day doesn't help his mobility or attitude. Never, never, never give up- W. Churchill
  21. Yep, just drop it. Use ratchet straps to secure it to the jack. The bell housing is too big to just slip it back.
  22. When's the big steel structure with a lift in it getting built?
  23. If you end up replacing your control arms, look here...http://www.topguncustomz.com/p-12502-2000-2002-dodge-ram-control-arms-for-25003500-00-01-ram-1500-4x4-0-2.aspx#.VijSgX6rSM9
