Teardown and Rebuild
Spearco also, BD, HTT was having a sale the other day on 2nd gen intercoolers. In college, spending money on a Cummins is a much better investment than blowing your money on beer/at the bar.

Friday Funny.
Isn't it wonderful. The same wonderful people that have had my fiances taxes since March and never filed them. Now, I may be out of a house because the loan officers need her tax information for last year and we can't get them for to up 5 weeks...a model of integrity and efficiency.

Rock Solid steering column bushing
Just disconnect the intermediate shaft at the top. Not very roomy in there, not a lot of room to sneak a hammer in there to drive the bushing in. I had to use a small dremel to cut the old bearing out. You will need to sand the inside of the bushing so it's not too tight. I did this multiple times so I didn't sand too much at one time. When I was chasing loose steering years back it did this, come to find out my lower bearing was fine so it didn't improve much of anything for me. I would just disconnect the shaft and wiggle the steering column from the engine bay and see if your lower bearing is bad first.

Ball joint time
The cups work, you just need to buy some tubing that'll fit.

Rear End Help. Dana 70-2u
I paid someone to rebuild mine, I think it was $2400, all Dana parts and new u-joints on the 2 piece driveshaft, balanced.

Power steering pump went out on freeway.... not good.
Track bar? Pitman arm? What are you referring to?

dead nv5600
Hijack. So, if i were to do a manual swap next summer , 5600 is the way to go? NV 4500 are about $1000 less, even with hardened shafts. The extra gear for towing isn't a necessity for me, just having a stick shift and not a low stall converter...5600s known to last longer/stronger in general?

Power steering pump went out on freeway.... not good.
Redhead will bolt right up. It's just a remaned box with upgraded internals, bearings etc. Borgeson is the box with a different design.

How can we become perfect?
Strive for perfection, but we're only human. I have found that just trying to be a better person has strengthened my faith and my willingness to do God's work. I have put aside some of the rituals of the Catholic Church (raised Catholic) that I was taught to do and believe, and found that my relationship with God and people around me has strengthened and I am a better person for it. In my family, there was hypocrisy, and just because my grandmother went to church every Sunday and had religious statues in her house, it didn't make her perfect at all, far from it. I think perfection starts in your heart and your love for Jesus and God, and trying to be more like them.

Time for a power steering flush
http://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/p2077_spicer_708047_ball_joint_set_for_2000_and_newer_dodge_ram_25.html#photo That's a link for 01-02 rams, but dennys has the ones for 99s I believe. other parts you may want to replace while things are apart -axle washer and nut -axle u-joint -unit bearing if it's bad http://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/p478_spicer_spl55_3x_universal_joint_dana_60_4x4_front_axle_u_joi.html -if I were you, I would replace that front axle u-joint even it doesn't need it...I'm kicking myself now for not doing it when I dove into the front end this winter

oil in coolant, no coolant in oil. bad cap, next test?
Flush it good and add more coolant than water for the water that gets trapped in the block when flushing. I switched from green to orange (HOAT) and after a couple months I had scaling in the system. I flushed it again and added more uncut coolant than water and haven't had scaling since.

Time for a power steering flush
Remove both return hoses at the back of the pump and route them into a funnel, then a catch can underneath the axle area, a large catch can. I just did this the other day, except I just let hoses hang down and when I turned the truck on, fluid blew everywhere from the fan! Maybe a bag of kitty litter, just in case. You may have to slice the hoses a little to get them off the back of the pump if you have never removed the hoses before. Maybe get some stainless steel band clamps just in case too. At least 2 quarts of power steering fluid. I just replaced all my hoses too, under $70 for all four from rock auto!

exhaust tick ?
That's pretty normal. There's always going to be some amount of blowby and positive crankcase pressure. Nothing to worry about unless you're puffing like a train out the oil fill cap.

power steering box pressure
Well my redhead didn't have a pitman arm seal on it. I wonder if I got debris got in there. My 285/75r16s (33s) weigh 57lbs a piece. 245/75r16s (30-31") weigh 34lbs a piece. I'm guessing that doesn't help either.

power steering box pressure
My redhead is loose after 2 years! I just got a reman box from a local rebuilder who upgrades the lower bearings. We'll see how long this one lasts...

What do i need to do to get this thing to down shift
What stall converter? Mine does't like to kick down either with a low stall and it shifts too soon for my liking during easy driving.
