Having an RV is almost a needed item now a days.....
I might get flamed for this post but here goes. The truth is, one cannot believe in authority and be free, because accepting the myth of government is accepting ones own obligation to obey a master. Which means accepting ones own enslavement. Sadly, many people believe that begging the master, via political action, is all they can do, So they forever engage in rituals which only legitimize the slave-master relationship. Instead of simply disobeying the tyrants. The idea of disobeying authority, breaking the law, and being criminals is more disturbing to them than the idea of being a slave.

always expand or "rights" as it is the government is taking away our rights at an alarming rate. i think of the live n let live. we humans are just another animal on earth. male, female, the human body is what it is. the people and dare i say, bible, are what has thought us to not accept our natural forum on display. all women have breasts, all men have their junk. If people cant handle the human forum then we are lost as a species. Ii could care less if a male want's to ware a dress and sit to pee. or visaversa, if we educate our kids to be mindful of themselves then there shouldn't be a problem. some perv wants to snap pics of girls in a bathroom let the mob handle it. or law. but making laws to further our illusion of safety is counterproductive. we Americans seem to be the country with all the problems., France could care less if a female walks into a male restroom. no one cares. i was taking a leak and a lady walked in with her friend just to wash their hands. no one beside be thought anything of it. it wasn't an issue. teach your kids at a young age what the human body is made of and it's not a problem. Now don't get me wrong. i don't think *** and lesbian is natural, we are the only species on earth that has had this happen. there is something twisted in the DNA. but i'm not going to tell them they can't be who they were born to be. it's their personal choice. i'm about as conservative and they come, but i believe a woman has the right to choose what her body goes though. i don't think the government has and right or say so over a woman uterus. My kids will be respectful, if a female walks into a restroom they happen to be in and needs to pee, they will not strare and will giver her the privacy she deserves. They will expect the same from the other side as well.

NV4500 finally died...
this scares me. how many miles on the trans? my stock 48re has 230K and no major signs of failing. always clean inside at the 30K oil and filter change intervals. i'm in the market for a new truck was wanting a manual. but if they don't last... maybe an auto is a good option?

Wood Burners
ever sense i switched to a high efficiency wood stove i've cut my usage in half. The fresh air kit was the biggest improvement. 3 years ago we went through 5 cords, last year with the new stove and not the fresh air kit we used 4 1/4 cords, this year i'm down 2.5. we do have snow on the way tonight and this weekend though. This year total i think I'll be around 3 for the year. When we had the ranch in Cortez there was a place my grandpa used to go get aspen chips, from a log home manufacturer or maybe it was the match making plant on your way to Durango, they would take a front end loader and fill his flatbed trailer for $5-10. i thought it was in Delores but i may be wrong on that.

what year to look for.
the family loves manuals. the bride had a Porsche when we met. so we are no stranger to grabbin gears. I have the mentality that as long as you can drive a stick you'll never be stranded. all my kids can shift the toyota. any thoughts on the newer coil rear suspension?

what year to look for.
so i'm in the market for another truck. i love my early 04. and don't plan on ever selling it. however, i'm inheriting some money form grandpas passing, so the wife gave me the go ahead to look for a 4th gen, mega, 4x4 with either a G56 of an aisin. the rest will be put into a third home. so of the 4th gen, what are the best years to look for.? if i ever have issues with DEF and DPF i'll delete. pro and cons of what years? i've looked but don't really find much... Thoughts?

30 WT oil
even with a block heater? and filter heater? on both oil and fuel filters? have a link to the video?
-
30 WT oil
yeah i read that. hence why i didn't get the straight 30.
-
30 WT oil
well tractor supply has the house brand Traveler on sale for 39. a 5. so i got 40 gal. of the 15/40. rotella was on sale as well but was 59 a 5. all the reviews i've read on travelers was good. so i'm not scared to use it. i'll be using it in all my machines as well. the straight 30 was specked as cg/sg oil for 93 n older engines. (ALWAYS REAL THE LABEL) I was running 5/40 winter and 15/40 summer, Valvoline, but i can't see spending 80$ a year to run the synthetic stuff. then $60 to go to the summer 15/40, i'l just change it more often now. not go the 10K miles. maybe drop to 7K or so. what i'll be using it in. 04 cummins, 05 deere 2210 15 can-am commander Max 1000 01 CR 250 99 CR125, Honda 160 log splitter Honda 160 pressure washer 12 civic, 93 toyota 22RE 13 can-am DS90 01 honda XR100 05 cummins onan generator i go through a lot of oil... i also got some non-detergent 40Wt for the 5 speed trans in the toyota.

30 WT oil
so tractor supply has a http://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/traveller-diesel-engine-oil-sae-30-2-gal straight 30wt oil.. would there be hard in running this? i use 15/40 most of the time and don't really see the need for the 5/40 as i plug my truck in in the cold. i'd be running it in most of my engines as well. most call for a 10/30-15/40 i'm looking to stock pile some oil before the new oil spec takes affect. i'll be getting 5 and 55 gallon drums of 15/40 and maybe some of this 30wt oil. thoughts.

Engine Vibration
yeah adding lubricity into a fuel is bad? I think not. the beauty about the diesel engine is it was design to burn OIL regardless. peanut oil would even work. as long as it's clean enough for the fuel system, and doesn't build up an ash, or high carbon, Which we all know the proper TCw3 does not do. then it will not harm your engine. mine runs noticeably quieter, weather it's the lower ignition point, or just the lubrication it adds i like it. it's not like the government EPA or the fuel companies care about the quality of fuel you burn. Yes our engines are more modern the the OLD cat's of days past, but the engine is more or less the same as it always has been, just the fuel system has changed, the compression may have changed. but the old design of the diesel still in tact. one has to think of the after treatments systems on the newer trucks but for the most part ours should be safe.

what grease to use where.
Molly, lithium, hi temp. etc. So what grease is used where? i currently have a molly grease in my grease gun. is it safe for say u-joints? ball joints? CV joints tractor pivot joints. wheel bearing? i've read and read on this and can't really fin d a good answer. just that new grease is better then none. anyone care to explain. i have a case of JT-6 extreme hi temp and pressure red stuff but was told by a few people that molly is the best going. what about the Lithium? where would i use that? The way one reads most forums i'd need 12 grease guns... i have two but only ever grab one.

deere 2210
Picked up an Deere 2210 with the yanmar 3TNE74 engine. i know nothing of this. anyone have any info or suggestions. i know Google can be useful. but i'd rather hear from trusted people on this forum. it has a gannon, and loader. i think i need to weight the rear tires as i can pick up things (rear of dodge truck ) with the loader and the back tires will lift. it only has 153 hours on it. so i'm not even sure if it's ever had it first oil change. as it's stated to "breakin" till 200 hours. anyhow, i'm going to drop the oil and put valvoline 15/40 in it. are these engines electronic injection? or POP style.? i can't find that even with googles help. thanks

Both Rear Wheel Very Hot
not at all. brakes are easy to check, as is the rear dif fluid.
-
Both Rear Wheel Very Hot
ok, Dif lube also lube the bearings at the and of the axle tubes. no lube to cool things and that ill make things get hot. the inner Drum E-brake is set and dragging then that will transfer heat to the wheels. assuming that were adjusted correctly, yes both wheels will be hot. if the rotors are dragging and heating up that will also transfer heat to the wheels. So. you can get a temp gun. drive around a bit and check the center pumpkin temp, then the outer brake rotors temp. that'll narrow it down real fast.
-
Both Rear Wheel Very Hot
then you have a brake that is dragging. be it the disk or the inner drum. one is dragging.
