So here in a few year my wife and i would like to move out of Flagpole AZ. can go i'd imagine anywhere we want. need ideas. we like the smaller towns. would like a place with water. we used to live in Coeur d'Alene ID it was nice. but again getting to be to many people. thought about Oregon somewhere, don't really know what's there. and of course every city web site boasts their city as the greats thing sense sliced bread. thought about Montana or Wyoming. Texas maybe. Wife like Maine, she used to live there before she met me. not sure i can stand the east coast winters and humidity. i like the snow. don't mind the cold. but here in AZ we get to see blue sky at least once a week. is there any type of economy though.? The good thing about Flag is it has a university NAU and Ski resort Arizona Snow Bowl and it's a gateway city to the Grand Canyon. But damn it's bloody expensive to live here. the cheapest house one can get into is about 350K for a cheep 2100sqf spec home. with no land. i bring this up because i was layed off two weeks ago. and i'm sick of it.

it can look fine and still be torn. jack the rear of the t-case up and see if it separates. i'll try and explain why i think it's the t-case mount. is the video it's moving forward. kinda like what axle wrap would do. so the rear of the t-case is lifting. if the handle was moving side to side i'd say it was the engine mount. does that make sense.?

i like the seat rebuilding. i replaced the cushion on my 04 and it only lasted a year. so i'ma have to rebuild it my way next time. i'll try and build a write up on it. maybe add some more foam and burlap in places of weakness.

here in Flagpole AZ at 7K feet we got about 8" of snow monday. low tonight of -5 "will see" high today was only 23 at my house. yeah winter comes and goes here. next week should be in the 50's. as for car care. i use Flood's Penatrol. and or DW-50. the Penatrol is a nice product. i like it so far.

really?? Bonners Ferry ID like that would cause a disruption to much of anything... most wood stoves were designed to slow cook meals anyhow. getting home and starting to cook is a modern thing. back on the ranch we had a stew cooking. as we never really knew when we'd get back to the house. sometime it was 3 in the afternoon sometimes 1 am. good ol wood burner slow cooking stew was the norm. pellet stoves have geat things to them. but that is only if you have power and or IMO live in an urban area. i'm rather rural and could and would never rely on the power company. so i'll never get a pellet stove. no power no heat. yes you can get a generator, but like really? i have some old school lanterns. candles. and lotsa wood. the High efficiency stoves on the market are great at keeping the house warm all day long. mine is anyhow.

My 02 did this a few time when cold. It's like the injection timing if off. Then like all the sudden idles great. I never worried about it.

Mine isn't insulated all the way up, just through the attic. I used to burn 4 cord a year. Now it's down to maybe one to one n a half. 1-1 1/2. I Cant upload pics... This one worked...

Very bad idea to pull air form inside the house.. always use a cold air kit if you can. why pull air from every air leak in the house to heat it up and sent it up the pipe? this will keep a cold stream of air always entering the house. when i switched to a cold air kit on my stove i burned 1/4 the amount i did the year prior. so much better to have cold air kit.

RV antifreeze is not made for an engine. it for the pluming in an RV. sink traps and water lines. we use it in out pressure washers as well. however the link CSM posted is great stuff.

diesel is 2.15, unleaded is 2.17 in flagpole AZ.

i was gonna say and impact bruise. or maybe lost a shock bolt. the quality of BFG tires went to pot a few years back. i hope they got it fixed. Glad to see you getting Coopers. Made in the USA!!!

yes that'll lube the lower packings, but soon as you add paint or any solvent it'll wash it out. and if your spraying doors it'll leave spots on it where the paint took some of the TSL with it and ruined your nice doors. you can add the lube when storing it, but i use thinner. make sure you flush it very well before doing fine finish work.
