Teardown and Rebuild
I don't think so, but I'll take a look tomorrow. They did have a date on them

Teardown and Rebuild
Washed and waxed. Cleaned up a set of wheels I picked up for cheap. Time for some new tires!

Need Towing Trans
It would! You could hold it perfectly in the torque range and get maximum efficiency out of the fuel burned.... O well, we can dream right?

Need Towing Trans
That's because it's literally shifting ALL the time. Same as a couple snowmobile clutches! I don't think they can hold up to extreme torque. I don't ever see them being in pickups or the big trucks.

Injector Maintenance/Cleaning
DAP does flow match all injectors, which is included in the cost.

NV4500 and 50 SAE GL-4 Synthetic Trans Fluid
If college tuition wasn't EATING every dime I had I would have installed a cooler, the temp probe, and changed to the correct fluid. Hopefully by mid August...

NV4500 and 50 SAE GL-4 Synthetic Trans Fluid
Well @KATOOM looks like it's time to drain that expensive fluid and hook up the RV

Injector Maintenance/Cleaning
I think the smartest choice would be to replace them.... After 200K they are likely getting worn and not sealing properly. They are also probably starting to drop the pop-off pressures, which will decrease atomization, increase smoke, decrease mileage, and decrease power. They can be had for pretty cheap too! Check out dieselautopower.com or vulcanperformace.com

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
This is exactly what the VP guys have been missing to make the trucks street friendly with big injectors. I'm glad I've got some big ones to test with and prove we can make them clean!

I wonder if I could break 500hp without a wiretap.... That would be cool

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
Noooooooooo!! Maybe I'll throw in some 7x.014 sacs just to prove they can be clean I bet I'll even get good mileage with them!

Churned it! Now I've got smooth as butter tuning. I am sending you a PM right after this as well. I've got the power starting out at 68%. This does make me let off the clutch easier, but it's still not easy to kill the motor. From there it ramps up, and by 15psi it is at 100% 0 68 1 68 2 69 3 70 4 72 5 74 6 76 7 78 8 80 9 83 10 86 11 89 12 92 13 95 14 97 15 100 16 and up is 100% Can-bus min = 50% Can-bus max = 100% Can-bus isn't a big deal for me as I rarely change it off of level 2. Driving this morning, I could hit the throttle from idle straight up to 35%, had zero smoke, and the power ramped up to 35psi of boost or so. Plenty of power to keep up with traffic and then some. I could continue to lay into it and have 50psi or so. Lots of power available for level 2

47re transmission
Wow.... These don't hold much! I changed the fluid on my mom's 00 powerstroke with the 4R100 and it took 17 quarts

Looks like you have an original board- Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
Ugh... it can't just use the value spit out?? Zeros and ones! Zeros and ones!!!!!!- Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
I have an idea.... My fuel pressure sensor is sitting in my intake horn. Can the quad be made to use fuel pressure instead of the MAP sensor to control fueling?- Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
PM Sent. Keeping this thread on track! I've been fighting with my fuel "bumping" up causing a slight surge in power. I think it's a combination of a bad place to read the boost, maybe a bad MAP sensor, and twin turbos. Where I was at yesterday, I had the fuel increasing 1% at a time from 68% at zero psi. The problem comes when the twins light the boost jumps from 5 to 20 or 25, causing a 15-20% fuel bump. This morning I set it to where I was at 100% fueling by 10psi and it seemed to smooth out the bumps, but it's slightly bumpy still. More playing to do....- Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
@Me78569 can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that 1200us is on top of stock. Not exactly sure. I know what you're saying though my brother's max effort tune is just over 3000us at 22K psi. No I haven't.... my brother and I are in the process of trying to buy a business, so our funds are heading into purchasing that. Maybe after the deal goes through I'll hit Gecovey Coffman up again.- Turbo rebuild
I just don't see how the he341 is a 54mm. The 03 HO CR came out at 325hp.... I don't think a 54mm can support than and stay cool.- Turbo rebuild
Use calipers on the mouth of the turbo to measure how many mm the opening is. I think it's a 57, not a 54.- Strange boost bumped up with higher EGT's.....
Higher temperatures means more energy is going through the exhaust turbine, but I wouldn't think you would see a sudden jump. The only thing I can think would cause a "jump" is something with the wastegate, or the truck moved into a new part of the fueling map.- concensus of running EGT's
Yeah... much hotter than I'd like it. The quad maxes in the mid 1800s, and I've pegged it a couple times. Really need to work on that. I was surprised it went so high too. I may look at relocating mine, but we'll see.- Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
I am very happy, but I've got to mess with the setting a touch and see if I can make it even better. As of right now, I can put my foot on the floor from idle and if the boost stays below 20, I don't have a lick of smoke. The only place I'm getting smoke is 22-27psi or so of boost. That's because the boost on these twins ramps up faster than the refresh rate, effectively jumping the fueling up faster than I'd like. I think I can change some values and make it cleaner though! My tune starts out at 68% from 0-2 psi, then ramps up 1% at a time for each psi. Mine is setup a bit different though.... I've got % control from 0-30psi..... - Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
