Ain't care. Tow pig, not a race truck. Be one heck of an exhaust brake though!

Compound VE turbos.... Fastest spooling compounds ever. I need to find a junker 12v and have nick help me make compound VEs.

You might as well! Nick did all of the leg work, you just have to bolt it on and let Nick's code do its magic! What's the shaft size differences between the hx35 and S300's? Just stay away from anything "Tater". I'm not sure what the geometry differences between the 65 and 67 wheels, but I highly doubt spool is much different.

Do it with a VE!! Do you know if they use the factory size shaft?

Cooling issues/plugged radiator
Plastic!!! My dad's has been on since 96. The condenser still looks brand new at 180k.

I though this was a different reason.... ;)

Cooling issues/plugged radiator
Lucky! Been through 5 Napa's and gave up. No bugs, no rocks, nothing gets in here. Cheap and easy to do!

Going to look at this tonight
You should have a hot wire coming back to your trailer hitch wiring. That should go straight to the battery on the trailer. That's how factory camp trailers are. I've got a cheap welder for sale.

2002 Cummins start on stand?
I'm not sure about this application, but the Dodge ECM is NOT cheap. Also the APPS is not built into the petal. It sits up on the front driver side of the head. That didn't change until 04.5 during the CR era.

@Mopar1973Man @Me78569 I think this would make for a nice article!! I need to do this She's all sorts of sloppy.

Cooling issues/plugged radiator
@WiscoRedkneck, out of curiosity, where did you get your fan clutch? I can't seem to find one that will unlock when the truck is cool. As for your overheating, I agree with @Hawkez. You're likely very plugged up causing your issue. (Crank case vent being the issue) You definitely do have an issue, but once you get it sorted out remember Cummins spec says you can run the engine at 220 all day and never hurt it

Holes in exhaust
Says the guy with no 5" experience. They can still drone horribly with a muffler.
-
Holes in exhaust
4" with a single turbo and a muffler was nice in the cab but pretty loud outside. 4" with a single turbo straight pipe droned pretty bad in the cab. 4" with compounds and straight pipe was nice in the cab and fairly quiet outside. 5" with compounds and straight pipe drones a bit in the cab. I'll be getting a resonator for it.

Head gasket leaking oil
That's why she started leaking! Gotta beat it now and then to remind it who's boss You're going to need to post that.

You keep telling yourself that!! I've driven it, and your girlfriend has driven it. The one thing we can both agree on is your steering is loser than (Insert analogy that shouldn't be said)

1/4 - 1/3 turn each direction without the wheels moving.....

Ball joints
Are they bolted or riveted in??

Whichever one makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. 7/16 .120 wall can be had too. No need for those at your RPM and spring strength.

Head gasket leaking oil
I don't think so.... The machine shop took care of it though, so I'm not positive. The biggest problem with the removable seats (01.5-02 and some CR's) is the exhaust seats are made from a material that contracts more than the head when EGTs get toasty. That means dropped seats and beat up pistons. Valve depth was changed to put a bigger cam in.

IMO Steering / safety is always #1. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but you literally have the worst steering of any vehicle I've ever driven. It makes @Me78569's feel like a sports car.

Head gasket leaking oil
My head was 1300 or 1350... something like that. My guides were fine iirc. The valves were pretty tight within the guides. I had O rings installed (Fire rings are a different story) I think the extra was $150. The big money for me was in the exhaust and intake seats. I had them set to a custom depth, hardened exhaust seats, and new intake seats put in.

Max Payload
It's 10 miles... why not do two quick trips and not have to worry about stressing the truck?
