  1. how about conditions? Is it regardless of throttle input? does more or less input change the result? Please give us as much info as possible so we understand what systems are involved.
  2. what speed and conditions does it happen at? light throttle / heavy throttle? 1st gear or all gears?
  3. Diesel auto power is my first choice.
  4. Nope it was only in D but the vin was assigned and so was the build date. Sudo D1 but not officially
  5. use valet mode to figure out how much fuel you need.
  6. Offically Moved into D1 status.
  7. More fuel. Use valet mode to figure out how much fuel you need at 0 psi.
  8. Yep no way to remove it. The truck would barely function, if at all.
  9. I think it's fine. We have a lot of room to mess with before a curve gets "bad"
  10. I agree with mike. Watch OEM then fill the hole
  11. I would not use any wiretap for dd. I liked to set wiretap to come on above 20 psi. I did not use tps mins and maxes personally (just 0-100) but some guys like to. That's up to you. Wiretap is really good at extending fueling canbus is really good at making up the meat of the power curve. If it "takes off" then smooth out your fueling. Really over %112 is unneeded if you want to peak duration only at high boost high throttle. With big injectors I am guessing this is the case.
  12. %6 is a good amount. Like using 6% more throttle input
  13. set it to 3500 and do a WOT pull with the gear locked. The trans is going to try and shift in that 3300 area unless you hold gears. holding gears to long is %100 related to TV level pull. You are using more tps input ot move down the road thus higher shift points. Try this. create a new tune, set canbus to %150 from 0-30 psi. I am betting it shifts like you want. the trans is %100 controlled by the tv cable and the pcm. the tuning only has an indirect effect on it.
  14. If your rpm limit is set for a rpm you will get fuel to that point. I setting to 3700 and doing a wot pull you should see in the datalogging %100 duration until 3500 then canbus fall off, wiretap won't give up until 3700. If your settings are a rpm limit of 3500+ rpm and you are only turning 3200 I want to see some datalogs.
  15. anyone in a Willie Mood?
  16. i'd go with VCO personally on a VP truck.
  17. . . . . . . . . Just Kidding. still waiting.
  18. yep, most complain coming to V2 tuning because they are used to the butt dyno telling them "WOW I just touch the throttle and it jumps out of it's own skin" what people don't consider is that on SW9 the truck might jump out of it's skin at %20 throttle input leaving a light, but %30 throttle input is the same as %20 input. Same at %50 throttle. If you just max duration at %20 input then your throttle range leaving a light is really just 0-20% because anything over %20 throttle input is still just %100 duration. TPs is the orange line duration is the bar's. %23 throttle nearly maxes duration, going to %34 throttle doesn't really increase duration as it is flat lined. The same " jump out of it's own skin" is possible with the Quadzilla, but you have to use %100 throttle if you want %100 duration lol. I gotta remind people to "use the throttle pedal for what it was designed for"
  19. upgrade your lift pump, the stock lift pump has always been subpar. I would call @dieselautopower about it.
  20. rv275s would be like 7 x .008 I think.
  21. no 30* is nothing at 2.5k - 3k rpm. Since you have studs I really wouldn't worry. head gasket issues happen at %100 duration sub 1500 rpm at 19+* of timing.
  22. it is a waste of money to get anyhting under 7 x .009's i my mind.
  23. Keep in mind that wiretap is only ~%25 of your total duration. canbus fueling makes up %75 of the fueling. Stock = 235 hp stock + canbus = 300 hp stock + canubs + wiretap = 380ish hp. so most of your power comes from canbus fueling the quadzilla is reading map values from the ecm until 16 psi. so if you are never seeing above 10 psi then your ecm is never seeing above 10 psi. You either have a bad map or bad wiring to and from the map. That or your Quad is setup internally via jumper to be a 01-02 when your truckis 98.5-00 or the other way around. running on sw9 you would actually have a cruise timing amount of ~17* as the sw9 shoves so much fuel near idle that you only need limited tps input to move down the road. This however means that you never get to higher timing at cruise because you are so far down in the timing map.
  24. yep 21-22* at cruise and 1600-1800 rpm. WOT you would hit 30* by 2500 rpm.
  25. 100 = stock injectors. 150 ~ = 7 x .012, 135 ~ = 7 x .009's Is it used to make the duration command into a mm3 per stroke calculation. That is how MPG meter is possible. Issue with the screen is the structure for tutorials is not built into the app nor is it the vehicle profile. It would be a major rewrite of the app and json structure to support it. they want to, but it is not a small project so it will take time.
