I wouldn't you are more likely to brick it that update it. The pv1 is REALLY old at this point.

When you open the vehicle selection page ont he app it goes to the internet, if possible, and looks for any updates to each profile. Reselecting the currently selected profile may result in an update notice. I had this issue a week ago, I didn't think to reboot my device, ended up reinstalling the app only to find it could not connect to the internet to get the current vehicle profiles. I rebooted and the wifi started working and the new vehicle list appeared with a updated v2 profile.

The app version is not related to the version under the hood. Is the device rebooted and connected to the internet before starting hte app? Did you reselect the v2 1998-2002 profile to check for and update prompt?

I don't honestly forsee this truck getting more power, maybe a mileage tune down the road sometime, but power not really. I will row me some gears

The Quadzilla is using math so it can't really "lie". that doesn't mean however that the circumfrence is %100 accurate based on tire size etc. Treat it as fuzzy math and the GPS is always right.

I am sure the 6 speed autos are better, but it SUCKS to tow in the mountains with an auto. no air assist, just good old fashion leaf springs. trying to keep it simple, we intend to keep this truck for a very long time, or until we see a 3500 electric with diesel generator I believe my wifes words were as follows "keep your grimmy mits off of it" to that I said " well if I don't have a 2nd gen my hands wont be grimmy" lololol so no, stock for a long time.

so your wiretap wont max until 45 psi in the tune you sent. You can set boost scaling to 30 and that will make it so you hit peak wiretap at 35 psi.
