  1. I very much doubt the odometer resets on power down unless something is VERY wrong with your truck. Do you mean trip? you unhook the negative battery cable first so that you dont run a risk of shorting out the wrench when you go to loosen the positive side. It does not matter though.
  2. The trans system is self contained I dont see a reaosn why it wouldn't work if the PCM was setup for the 47re
  3. that's why load is higher, Mike needs less of a fueling command to move down the road at the same speed as you. when you up your injectors you will find that load at cruise drops.
  4. load will differ from truck to truck. what size injectors do you have? I wouldn't set light throttle timing any higher than %35 personally. timing should not be high at cruise when fueling is that high.
  5. Please review all the threads you have posted on CF. There are alot of things to test in those already. I can't remmeber all the issues you have posted now.
  6. The shift point change can be pretty major. %5 change in throttle position ot get moving will result in a much different shift point. That's a big thing I noticed when I went with a super low stall converter. I needed MUCH less tps input to get moving. There is a signficant difference in how the butt dyno controls the right foot.
  7. 3 buses SCI CCD J1939 SCI: is used for troubleshooting and talking from the obd plug to the ecm and pcm. This is nothing more than a obd compliance bus in my mind. CCD: this is the major bus for the computers talking to each other, other than the vp44. All data between the abs, pcm, ecm, ctm, cluster, overhead use the CCD bus to transmit info. all sensor data is on this bus all needed calculations are on this bus, fueling and timing commands are on this bus etc. this bus is the heart of the 2nd gen truck. j1939: is used for talking between the ecm and vp44.fueling and timing commands and answers are on this bus. all engine sensor data is on this bus, some calculations are on this bus, others are not. Example 98-2000 trucks have a load calc, but it is not accurate where as 01-02 trucks have actual engine load. The 2nd gen vp44 trucks are a mismatch of garbage to make things work while keeping the government happy with their regulations. There are a lot of bandaids in the system to "make things work"
  8. for anyone else needing the part. It's page 943 part #3 number 06502831
  9. The stall speed can and will effect shift points, BUT not directly rather as a result of needing less TPS input to move off from a stop. A low stall converter will require will APPS movement than a high stall converter during daily driving situtations. This means that you get less pull on the TV and shorter shift points.
  10. Use the part number lookup tool to get a PN for it and then use the internet to find it.
  11. $10 per 6 months to access downloads. Click the donation window up top. Or I think there is a menu item for it.
  12. you just need a usb mini cable You can flash with any version of windows from xp through 10, xp, vista, 7 are all easy 8 and 10 are a touch harder, but I layed it out in the flashing video.
  13. Have you sorted the rest of the issues you have posted about? I would not suggest you buy ANY tuner untill you get things sorted.
  14. Mike v2 and 2000 are vastly different. 1000, 2000, beta are all old school tunes with none of the v2 goodies
  15. Fill out a support ticket and we will solve your issue. Just email support@mopar1973man.com
  16. You can flash it yourself. Every xzt tune is hosted here.
  17. Light load throttle is what you want to adjust.
  18. Go rent a pressure gauge from AutoZone or orielly
  19. The quad because you can get different tunes. Beyond that they are the same
  20. When's the last time you updated? The shudder should be gone in low rpm situations
  21. E sure you give it time to export the app may appear to freeze but if I just let it sit and tell Android to wait it always exports.
  22. The app doesn't care as long as you don't exit the app. Export the log
  23. @Mopar1973Man is a rebel, I dont thikn he has studs hahahaha
  24. can you explain your method so we can help troubleshoot?
  25. snowflakes are little mirrors, the more light you throw at them the move reflect back.
