  1. Thanks a TON for the data log. You can see whats going on pretty quickly in the data log. Scroll down and watch where you go to steady state ~%40 - %50 throttle Look at your map readings, they are falling to 0 psi. Remember from 0-16 psi the Quadzilla is reading PSI from the ECM directly so the ECM is saying that you are getting 11 psi then 0 psi on the next read. this is the cause of your surging. Your map readings are not stable. I would check your map wiring VERY closely. Check for good stable 5v signal to the map sensor.
  2. man that's strange. Things that wiretap looks at Boost, RPM, TPs do you have a data log to compare that video to?
  3. Just watched your video. Is your tc unlocked during that? I have to say I can't even begin to guess what is causing it. It looks like your tc is unlocking or something. Gonna think on it.
  4. Is the starter solenoid getting 12v when you turn the key to crank? How about jumping your nuetral safety switch? I would start there and work backwards to find where the issue is.
  5. Meh no issues here, However I am well within the map of the turbo
  6. Trevor as we chatted about I owuld just keep and eye on things The hard limits in place on the Quad are not low enough to cause white smoke at that low of an RPM. Limits are 8* to 30* so at 1500 rpm you would need less than 8* to cause white smoke.
  7. If it was me I would find the cheapest route 1. buy another s&b fitler 2. ANother source for filter 3.OEM tube and BHAF I don't think any of those choices are wrong since you are stock.
  8. I am confused, but do you need a new filter? Nothing wrong with a S&B just over sized for your setup.
  9. If you are stock then it is hard to beat any of the BHAF's just choose one of the below.
  10. how much air do you actually need? in CFM?
  11. What I have read on the bluechip site makes be believe the special x pump is just an SO pump with an HO computer. as long as you have SOME inlet fuel pressure I Would say go ahead and get some 7 x .009's with the hope that you would put a lift pump on there quick fast and in a hurry. This of course is assuming that you actually NEED new injectors.
  12. Don't think so. @Cowboy would be the one to ask
  13. quit getting along and understanding each other....this is an internet forum and we have no room for that behavior oh wait... No you guys are good hahah
  14. My thought process on this issue 1. it was working without any changes ( so what changed?) 2. why 1500 rpm? ( oem timing is the low limit and quad 1500 setting is upper limit) whats happening at that point? A data log would be very helpful so we can spot whats up. I would also drive around on lvl0 only for a bit and see if it happens still after a few days. Drive it HARD. At 1500rpm I would expect thew low limit setting of 8* to be enough to make it run without popping and smoking so I am not sure what is causing white smoke at such a low rpm. Regardless I think I am headed up to denver friday to help a guy out, maybe we can meet up and see whats going on.
  15. Datalog datalog datalog. In my experience white smoke and popping is due to too little timing. Does this happen on the road? Driving easy? Hard? You can try to mirror OEM timing 1500 13* 2000 14* 2500 18* 3000 24* 3500 26*
  16. It's already out. The base tune never had a limit only the app side had a limit, just update your vehcile profile by going to vehicle selection then select your vehcile again. It will prompt you to update.
  17. Pedal input -> ECM -> injector duration increase. All the leg work is done by the ECM.
  18. Yes the IPA I linked has the equalizer but the official release works too. Same end functionality
  19. I'd say it takes me a good 30 seconds to 1 minute of cranking to fully bleed the lines.
  20. Torque works fine with the elm327 You are looking for what the various sensor are reporting at idle and when the issue occurs. Try a throttle input sweep while watching TPS on the app. Does it follow your throttle movement? Are you seeing any odd readings?
  21. I wouldn't worry about it. If it idles good it idles good. Idle state is all OEM fueling and timing so the ECM I asking for that much fuel to get x RPM.
  22. Verify your wiretap is connected well. Next drop your min pump tap fueling %. Having min pump psi at 0 psi and min pump fuel % at %50 means that you are getting a min of 50 wiretap if you leave the line at high throttle. Try min pump tap %15 and pump low boost scale of 5 psi
  23. Does your Wait To Start light come on when you key on?
  24. I would check for a short in your 5v reference sensors, but I am gonna bet dimes to dollars ECM is toasty. If you dont want to jump to ECM I would clean EVERY plug under the hood with dielectric grease. also go to the articles section and look at wiring for the ECM test all wires for shorts
