yep just drive then hit the export button, give it time to bring up the save as intent window and select the save method you want.

I use that one also. Really any ELM327 device will read codes on any vehicle newer than 1996

The crf450ish random question thread.
dunno honestly that's a weird one.

really it comes down to the more tuning you do the better the truck will run, but you can get "most of the way there" by using someone else's tune. If it runs good enough at that point then fine.

Max timing setting is above 3k rpm it wont go over that. Max fuel load timing sets how much of that rpm timing is related to load %. So in order to reach that timing limit you set you would have to be at %100 canbus fueling. Each truck will be different at cruise state. My truck likes to sit at 20* at 65. Yours might like 17* or 19*. Issue is I am no tuning genius I just created the interface lol. All I know for tuning is what works on my truck.

Exporting data always helps, that will tell us what the truck is doing rather than trying to guess. If you want more meat then bump your canbus fueling more. You won't hurt anything. Also on stock injectors if you want more bottom end reduce your pump low boost scale psi from 8 to 1 or 2 if you want it to drive like the edge on 5x5. Setting it at 8 means you get 0 wiretap until 8 psi. Good setting for bigger injectors but not so much stock fueling. Rest of the tune seems good. From my testing only timing really has changed mpg much. Fueling doesn't do much so long as wiretap isn't going crazy.

I agree with Moparman. What's your tune?
-
Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
Try 5* just make sure your cruise psi limit is set correctly to disable if your load increases. I would save your tune again and then load the tune again to ensure it sticks, 17* seems low.

I don't know if it is possible to have a choice in place to have the app dictate where the export gets saved. The perk of using the "intent" function of android allows the user to choose what to do with it. What you see pop up when you hit export is the intent function asking the user how they want to handle the action you requested. This is a fundamental android function that pretty much makes a system wide API. Personally I would not use a natively built in save function because I just use Google drive. It automatically syncs. So if the cost of having a natively built in export save function removes the intent function of the app / android then I think it is a step backwards and I would be very unhappy. I don't want to be limited to only saving the export file to a location on the device. This is why I suggest have a folder program installed on the drive so when you call the Android intent process it finds that program and does what you want. The way it is setup now is a future proof method or exporting data.

Mike install a folder app on your phone. I can just hit export and select folder FX and it will save it to my home directory. The issue is that you don't have a native app on the device to save the file.

The crf450ish random question thread.
Increasing timing within reason. Typically I would expect 18* at 55 19* at 65 and 20* at 75 for a stock injector truck.

Injectors
I would. I'd hate to do all of that work and have it run bad.

As with everything we want to save and document it is stored in the articles section. Even a tuning video. 1.Max Loda Timing Offset is how much timing of your base timing curve is related to load. If you set this to 1* then load will ditctate 1* of the total timing up to your canbus limit. 2. thats the lowest limit that wiretap will apply 3. Cruise timing is base 17* so if you set this to 1* then your Quad will try and hit 18* total timing at cruise at 2400 rpm. There is a 3* span of cruise timng between 1400 and 2400 rpm so if cruise timing is set to 1* then at 1400 rpm you would get 15* of timing at cruise. 16* at 1700 17* at 2000 and 18* at 2400 rpm. 4. Using TPS from 0-100% this set the minimum amount of wiretap to use. So if you have this set at %25 and go to %100 tps then you will get no less than 25% of the wiretap fuel stretch. if you go to %50 tps then you iwll get %50 of that %25. Pretty much allows you to set a min amount of Wiretap at WOT. Race tune type stuff. 5. Set how fast timing reduction gets pulled, but allows for a limit. If timing reduct is at 3* and reduct scaling is %75 then you will get a max of 2.25* of timing pulled at high throttle low boost, but it will increase down low faster than just setting your timing reduct to 2.25*

but right now I just update my google drive folder lol.... good thing I am not updating stuff anymore....at least public stuff that's a pretty neat idea, but don't limit your tunes to a rampup fueling only. MY tow tune ramps up quickly off the bat then tapers off to slow growth by10psi. You can do decimals, no point really. I guess you couldn't but I doubt you would feel the difference. Really if you wanted to max fueling up top you would only need to reach %112 to hit 4095 at WOT higher revs.

stumble on acceleration
maybe that's Torque management kicking in when it shouldn't be? Thats something that cuts fueling that comes out of the ECM. However it shouldn't happen until after you get the truck moving. Does your tool show you mph? maybe the PCM is telling fueling to cut? Replace the VSS? The sensor on the rear diff? unplug the ABS and try again
