  1. Good batteries are key when it comes to getting an engine to kick off in the cold. Diesel needs heat to combust, the speed at which you compress the cylinder will have a great impact on how much heat is created.
  2. @Haggar What device are you using a lot with what browser? Is it a tablet, cell phone, computer, mac?
  3. Clearly that picture was taken in Moorhead MN rather than Fargo ND. Kidding there are some good looking gals in that area.
  4. Need a new Drivers side seat cushion do you?
  5. Gotta remember I am from International Falls MN.....I am a snow child.
  6. We rarely have snow that lasts for more than 24 hours on the front range. Once you get into the high country it is different. It normally snows then we have 50* days and it turns to mud and then dries. We have huge temp swings that really just make winter unpleasant. I can't wait to move away from here to a place that snow actually stay's all winter.
  7. Time to get out the snowmobiles and enjoy it too bad you have to be an adult. I really miss the winter.
  8. Factory feature? I am not following.
  9. At a min 22mm hole to fit the molex through, I would do 24 or 26 mm though.
  10. create an article we can hold onto https://mopar1973man.com/cummins/articles.html/24-valve-2nd-generation_50/51_engine/electrical/?do=form&d=4 pretty much like a post, but it stays in the articles section. Pictures etc are good.
  11. The article covers the most recent flash that is hosted.
  12. Agree check to see what Voltage you are getting at the pump when running.
  13. Doesn't the fass already use a relay?
  14. Clean EVERY ground on the truck. Check for Voltage to the lift pump from the ecm when running. I would't worry so much about cranking psi at htis point. I would guess you just have a bad ground or something causing your issues. Check your alternator for AC noise. Lube every plug with Dielectric grease.
  15. Find the Part number in the lookup tool Under exterior panels, under plugs ~ page 888 and above
  16. right click anywhere in the map and hit "whats here"
  17. Wife and I went on our anniversary trip this last year, Spent ~2 weeks living out of the camper just poking around montana, no real plan, just going day by day. Used our Cell phones and a trusty paper map. There is a great app for your phone called " free campsites". It takes your current location and plots any campsite in the area. All o fwhich are inputted by users. You will find a TON of great off the beaten path places to camp. I have always been a fan of paper maps for finding back roads. Only real downfall to it was cell service was sometimes not around, but that is becoming less and less of an issue.
  18. IF you let the clutch out without touching the gas the truck will pull away, even with a load. This is due to the anti stall feature.
  19. Anti stall still works until you hit the go pedal. The Quad won't alter idle state fuel. However with your small injectors you would never notice the issue. I am guessing you would not use a starting % of less than 100. So yes and no, I would really like to make some sort of low throttle anti stall feature, but my functions so far cure 1 issue and create 4 others.
  20. agree that the block heater is also having issues.
  21. However it really doesn't take long at all, maybe half second for ecm fueling to come up enough to remove the issue, it's only right off idle. Most of the issue is due to how "lazy" anti stall has made guys.
  22. Id say anything below %80 typically it becomes more of an issue.
  23. Yea since we are reducing the fueling message at 0 psi you will see that off idle fueling may be too low, but good once rolling. IE: say idle is 500 20 mph cruise, 0 psi, is 1000 Now we take the quad tuning at do %80 of fueling at 0 psi. So offidle we are left with 500 * .80 which is 400 cruise we have 800, the %20 reduction in fueling is more noticeable offidle. auto trucks don't seem to care due to the converter, but manual trucks seems to have a lul offidle.
