  1. display, for andriod only, the apple stuff is different...I guess, I dunno I am apply stupid
  2. Also anyone that runs the new software needs to run this APK from Quadzilla. it contains a bug fix for the custom tuning not loading. Iquad.apk
  3. i got 99 problems but a bug ain't one of them....things with the Quad are stable. Everything is working. I am now working on getting TM worked out for future stuff.
  4. I do have to say that Montana has, by far, the best national forest health I have seen recently. You guys still have a ton of logging going on and I can see the perk to it. It may seem like logging has gone down, but compared to here....wow.
  5. yes it is.
  6. Welp, Here is a back to back run, same conditions with the turbo set to slu gmode ( 25cm housing) Both runs are aligned to when I went WOT. Starting speed was ~30 mph and grossly underfueled for the housing size You can see the important things are the grey vs blue, grey being the run with timing reductions, and the light blue to the blue down at the bottom, light blue being timing reduction run. It seems to show that pulling timing shows better spool. I need to run a more aggressive tune as the above could hardly spool the turbo. I honestly could not tell a difference between the two runs hahaha. . So heres a run with the turbo held at 16cm Starting speed was ~30 mph and grossly underfueled for the housing size It shows pretty much the exact opposite, the timing reduction tune slooped slower than the none reduction tune hahaha. So what does it mean? More testing / data logging is needed. I need to find a good flat road without traffic and run again. I really do need to add a touch more fuel to the tune I was running these tests on. A lishgt breeze would have made the results screwed. Took way to long to build any boost. What did I learn? I love my VGT, hahahah, even on canbus fuel only it spools like nuts provided I am not holding the vanes wide open. I haven't driven around much lately without the turbo held at a position, but man it is a turd when you are not adjusting the vanes.
  7. I finally fixed my manual vane control on my vgt turbo. This enabled me to do some testing on boost pressure at cruise vs egt's vs canbusfuel, and timing. Cruising timing doesn't really change anymore since the cruise timing change as of a week or so ago. What I did notice is, Vanes wide open ( 0 psi boost and 0 psi drive) egt's 750 ( expected as there was no boost) canbus message ~1250 ( not as expected as I figured psi would bring up fueling, but I guess TPS position bumped it up) vanes closed down into performance mode. ( 3 psi boost and 5 psi drive) egt's 650 canbus message ~1100 This mirrors what I found on my last road trip when I tested 1 tank while keeping vanes at a given position. My best MPG came with vanes set so boost was up while at cruise. When I get some time I am going to mess with turbo spooling vs low end timing. I will set the vanes wide open, then try to spool the turbo from 30 mph in 3rd locked up with 0 * timing reduction. I will then do the same thing with the timing reduction set at 3*. I will overlay the graphs and see if spool is any better or worse between the two.
  8. If canbus fuel is reading 4095 it is maxed. But it might only be maxed at the top end. Or at very high revs etc.
  9. Typically this should be in the 2nd gen non powertrain area. I wil go ahead and moe it for you.
  10. I have something fun to test, but I need a late yaer automatic truck AS a side note I finally got to do some 70+ mph driving last night. With the cruise timing enabled my EGT's at 75 are down ~150*f compared to stock. Boost is about the same sitting right at 5 / 6 psi, canbus fueling was right around 1200. No idea what my mileage was like, but I found that interesting.
  11. I have to admit I only use 2 stroke when I remember too...so very rarely. I don't notice much tailpipe difference however.
  12. Gonna take time to get the security forum going.
  13. I don't understand how that could do anything without pressure. It would be like tossing an oil filter in the oil pan and calling it good.
  14. Can't. The Psg needs to be calibrated to the pump using a 815 Bosch test bench. It's all or nothing in terms of vp44
  15. It is actually.
  16. what he said. the pv screens are not coded for the new stuff. I don't exactly know what would happen, but you are free to try? If I was to guess I would assume it would set 0 to all new variables when you try to load a tune...not good.
  17. What you do???? Also at this point I am fairly confiedent that you won't need to flash another tune in the near future, unless someone finds something big. I have been driving on this flash for almost a week now ( 98-00 side) without issues.
  18. Some fancy stuff on the CCD network. @Chris O. would likely know the most as he has hacked the CCD network.
  19. Alright, Spencer gave me the go ahead to post the flash for download ON ONE CONDITION Don't Call Quadzilla and ask for help loading the Driver if you are on windows 10. They are working on getting the Driver updated for the Vast amont of changes microsoft put in place. If you have loaded a Quadzilla flash to your box before it will work without troubles, but if you have a new machine and you have never flashed the box you will have to install the driver manually. The directions on how to do it yourself are posted in the download section and it will work if you follow the directions., If you want to send your box into Quadzilla they will flash the V2 tune for you for the same $15 they always charged for flashing service. If you send me the box I can do it for a blank check Here it is, Download this file ADR1000V2.exe Download that double click, flash to your box. If you have issues post it to this thread and I will help sort them out. Nick
  20. If the output voltage is 5v you will have a high psi situtation reported to the ecm. I doubt this would make the revs jump like that. Iam still mostly concered with the p1689 code. That specifically means the ecm cannot talk to the vp44. Unplug the map and see if your truck is better, it will throw a code, but effectively it just runs as if there is 0 boost. The vp44 can idle on it's own without talking to the ecm. That is what the idle sense wire is for. Think of idle as a "closed loop" type situation. as soon as tps input is sensed it will jump out of idle state and the ecm will start to command fueling. Now if your sensors are shorting to ground etc I could see the ecm getting pissed off and not being able to command fueling.
  21. couldn't agree more. I have always thought we are shooting ourselves in the foot by giving up the home garden. As soon as we offload our food needs to a big producer we start to have a waterfall of issues.
  22. Not as cold as my house, need to pay the bills
  23. Just buyit from Quadzilla or DAP directly mopar1973man doesn't have any hand in it other than testing and storing the data / reviews etc. I have the flash once you send me a blank check I will release it hahahahha
