  1. narrow down your graph to show the issue happening. there is too much data there.
  2. Ithink it was created in office 2010 I use office 17 or whatver.. winols is what you need.
  3. I would regear and get some bigger injectors. you need to run a lot of duration with those small injectors to get the turbo going.
  4. Yes I would go with injectors that will support 600 hp. 125's are too small. what are the rest of the specs of the turbo?
  5. Try some of these. https://mopar1973man.com/forum/185-standard-quadzilla-adrenaline-tunes/ The stock injector or mild injector tunes should work well.
  6. with the e32 gone I have been keeping my eye open for another bmw. Happens that this weekend I heard word of another e34 touring for sale. 3.0 l v8, but with a 6 speed swap already done. i've already had a touring, but man I miss that car. I am seriously considering flying out to cali and picking it up. Really not a great time in terms of $$ but it is a pretty screaming deal.....Maybe I need to start a go fund me lololololol
  7. unless you had a special flash from me then you didn't have the backend for the wiretap stuff anyways. There is no difference in what is going on under the hood with wiretap. no anti smoke feature. You can command as much fuel as you like. Lope tune, set wiretap tps max to 0. It will run like trash.
  8. Don't use the quadzilla only profile. It is a test profile to see what happens with file updates. The wiretap % sensor was a beta test thing to know when wiretap was doing what, but it is not standard release because too many people don't understand that lvl 5 out of 10 would only give you %30 wiretap. Too many phone calls about "why don't I get full wiretap"? The underlaying map for wiretap and code is unchanged. Idle state changes are very hard. The ecm is doing a lot of management at idle and it gets pissy if it notices the engine isn't doing what it is telling it to. The high idle stuff took a TON of testing to find the right fueling to add without triggering run away protection.
  9. I'd check and make sure the superchips doesn't already boost fool.
  10. Bigger injectors would be good. A hx35 is the realm of 7 x .009's. Since you have tuning I would be looking at 7x .011's 7 x .010's would also work You will need less duration to make the same power
  11. Adding a turbo won't help your issue. You don't have enough fuel to get ontop of the turbo. If you want 500-600 hp then a 62/68/12 and a 75 plus some 7x .012's 6 x .013 or similar.
  12. with the weight you are pulling I wouldn't be to worried about MPG. you will be cruising at pretty high load and boost levels and needing a lot of duration to get the twins moving with the little 7 x .009's. If you have studs then you can run a bit more timing, but I don't think I would be pushing it much past 17*
  13. 125hp injectors are no where near big enough to drive a "big" turbo if the small one is a 64. What are your overall power goals? are you trying to solve an issue by going with compounds?
  14. I shoudl say "stock bar" whatever that is.
  15. going from 305 bar to 330 bar gave the same effect of dropping duration by %2-%4 without actually lowering fueling. Dunno how the fuel placement would be noticably different. Gotta remember hte vp might pop injectors at 305 bar, but peak pressure is WAY higher. The amount of time difference between 305 bar and 330 bar in terms of when the pop event happens is nominal at best.
  16. I'd go with some vco nozzle 7x .011's. otherwise stock. the exhaust and intake will work fine. You could keeping running your ddp injectors to start and see how it goes once you get rid of the badly spec'd turbo.
  17. If you want 600 hp and be able to use it as a truck then you need twins. you could do a hot mid 500's on a 62/68/12 I dont think you want a 600 hp single vp truck.
  18. Timing always locks at 17.2* if duration is maxed and tps is above 60,70,80 % depending on the T setting in the tune. Keep in mind that I had starting issues when cold cold when pop was at 350 bar. 330 didn't have the issue as far as I can tell, but it wasn't as cold with the 350 injectors.
  19. DDP injectors are not known for being clean or cool. So really any injectors, DAP and DFI have both been good to me. HOWEVER without being able to be onboost at cruise state your EGT's are still going to be high. Maybe not 1100, but you wont be able to get down to 700*F like one would want for good MPG. Our engines are not efficent off boost, hence your issues. The turbo is the wrong turbo for a vp application. You are going to spend a ton of time and money trying to work around having the wrong turbo for the application. If I was in your shoes I would put the stock hx back on, sell the silver bullet and get a 62/68/12 sxe from DAP.
  20. Do what you want to, but the combo you are running is not going to run well. a 62/68/12 is going to be MUCH better suited to a DD vp truck. bumping injectors up wont really help at cruise state as you only need XX HP to move down the road. Adding bigger injectors does not change how much fuel is used at cruise and thus does not created more energy heading towards the turbine. Bigger injectors will help light the turbo faster when you put your foot into it, but that is not the same situtation as cruising.
  21. I dont think there is much you can do tuning wise for this. The engine just isn't flowing enough air to keep on top of the turbo when at cruise state. you can try adding more timing, but I dont think it will make a big difference in this case. What are the full specs of the turbo? your ddp injectors are likely a large reason for your egt issues. they are known to be hot and smokey.
  22. tire weight differs greatly between tires even of the same size.
  23. been awhile, but you should just use the dodge 98-02 v2 profile. I think I piped the trans stuff into the place where the normal sensors go. As for MPG I have not found any difference in mpg when it comes to how aggressive your fuelig is. It only take XXX fuel to move down the road so you might have an aggressive tune, but you are not on the throttle as much. My guess is your new tires are a lot heavier than the old. I went to some mud tires at one point from an AT tire and lost ~3 mpg. Same size tire, but they were alot heavier. If timing is at ~19-20* at highway speeds you should be getting about hte best mpg you can hope for with the current setup.
  24. well 7DF is not the command to unlock the goodness. I am going to have to connect up the canbus sniffer.
