  1. Ditch the smarty bud. Your edge is more that capible of maxing out fueling. If you want more low end grunt get bigger injectors.
  2. I hope so
  3. 2020 it went in as a 2018. The other guys ordering have been seeing 6-8 week timeframes so who knows.
  4. same order without the park sense because backup camera is now standard
  5. ...well close, trademans very limited
  6. well I put in a order for a new truck. The truck is still at the train depot. FCA won't release it. The report is it has 50 some odd quarter sized all over the truck. Back to square 1.
  7. you can stil order. We are going to go take a look at the truck and see how bad it really is. then we will talk about what the next step is.
  8. 8 x .014's will out flow what a vp can do. 6 x .013's are what you want.
  9. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Drum Role please . . . . . . . . the truck was VERY badly damaged with hail when it was sitting at the train depot in Denver. The dealer is not sure they even want to sell it..
  10. %95 of the time if you see a 216 code the vp is on it's way out. White smoke is another indicator of that.
  11. 1693 is telling you the other computer has a code. https://mopar1973man.com/cummins/articles.html/24-valve-2nd-generation_50/51_engine/obdii-error-codes_94/
  12. they will take it as a core. I prefer Diesel Auto Power as they are a vendor here. They have by in far the best customer service I know of.
  13. p0216 is saying the timing piston is sticking in the vp44. Once you get heat into it the vp44 case expands and the piston free's up.
  14. lvl 2 is kinda of a mpg mode I guess. It only allows for up to %100 oem fueling and will use 0-10 psi settings if below %100 in the tune. I dont really get the point either, but I couldn't remove a feature
  15. lvl 2 + timing is always the same I towed on my "extreme" tune all the tune I never changed from it.
  16. Nope nothing to do other than injectors
  17. Nah I have patience coming out of my ears. It's at the dealer now waiting for me, but I am in Canada soooo now they are waiting on me!
  18. I used the $5 setup from autozone for a plug in the stock pan and it worked fine.
  19. The reason for that is the Insight tells the ecm to tell the turbo to calibrate. If the turbo isn't on the truck the ecm doesn't know it is there and thus can't pass it a calibrate command.
  20. not beyond taking it apart and seeing. I would guess the TC clutch though.
