  1. After a Windows update last night through the night I guess Microsoft has decided for me that I wanted a huge mouse cursor . I can go into my control panel and go under mouse pointer settings, and i can even see the smaller pointers to pick from, but it will ot let me select any other size than what they downloaded to me on the lastest update! Anyone have it happen and how did you get back to a small cursor? Dam updates, soon going to turn them off
  2. Put my new Timbo App sensor on today..it's a nice day out so as previously I posted about weather affecting my surge i'll be a slight bit hesitant to say it's fixed...so i'm going to say i'm giving a big for "no" surging whatsoever now when I took it for a test run.
  3. If you do good work, do what you tell the customer you're going to do, and don't nickel and dime people...you'll always have work!
  4. I want one too !
  5. I was asking all of these questions because if i register my trailer for hauling under 10000lbs I get a 2 year inspection and its about $30 cheaper. I decided to register it for the max instead( 1 year ins) simply because the trailer weighing in at 3800lbs if I want to put a truck or anything on it i'd be over the 10000lbs. This way i'm safe if i get into an accident because you know that's the first thig they would do, weigh my load and try to blame me by being over what I was allowed. Thanks guys
  6. ok thanks fellas. This is probably a dumb question, but what can I tow legally for weight with this truck? I ask because i'm getting my new trailer registered and I know what that can be done at, but then i got wondering what weight my truck is actually allowed to haul. I have a Reese 14k gooseneck hitch
  7. Anyone know what my truck would weigh? I look at my permit and it just says 14000kg and most of my stickers on the truck are gone. 02 2500 4X4 quad short box
  8. :lmao2:Oops! It has a 15000 load capacity.Looking it over a bit yesterday, i'm very happy with the quality of it, looks like they did a nice job building it.
  9. .Just left calais maine a few hours agowith my friend towing his new 53' detachable drop hitch and my new 22' strapped fast...heading home. Cant wait to get this puppy unloaded.
  10. Describing my situation almost to a tee! Except you left out the part of it doing it worse in colder or damp weather.(mine seems to). I contacted Timbo and explained the situation to him, he said also about the ECM controling the cruise control, leading him to believe it's an Apps issue. Ordered one Friday
  11. I love Subaru's! paid $600 for mine 2 years ago and have maybe $1000 in it total...never lets me down. Did they check the head when they had it ff to see if it was warped at all I wonder?
  12. Thanks for all the replies guys. I ordered my trailer last week and ended up going with the Kaufman 22 ft ,15000 GVWR gooseneck Deluxe with spring loaded ramps, 16" centers and sealed harness. Hopefully it will be hitting the Canadian border sometime first of May:thumbup2:
  13. The police officer happen to tell you what the legal noise limit was, and then tested your trucks exhaust to see if you were over the legal limit? Tell him to go catch the drug dealers and murderers and stop worrying about petty things
  14. Specs on the ones I was looking at http://www.kaufmantrailers.com/heavy-equipment-trailer-store/Kaufman-Trailers-Catalog/Equipment-Gooseneck-Trailers/14,000-GVWR---20-ft.-Equipment-Gooseneck-Trailer-p17.html http://www.kaufmantrailers.com/heavy-equipment-trailer-store/Kaufman-Trailers-Catalog/Equipment-Gooseneck-Trailers/15,000-GVWR---20-ft.-Equipment-Gooseneck-Trailer-DELUXE-p352.html
  15. Fellas, I posted over on CF too, looking at a Kaufman 14000 GVWR or 15000 GVWR Gooseneck equipment hauler. Anyone have any feedback on this companies trailers?
  16. Just put a new Borgeson box and shaft on mine. Big improvement
  17. I contacted Borgeson and told them how my parts were working, Gil told me to check and make sure the shaft wasn't on the splines of the steering box or steering column to far and binding the u joints of the shaft. Found mine to be hitting on the steering column spline and making it bind. I moved it out until the spline was flush with the joint and made the steering free up like it should be. Can't wait for my next trip with the trailer, should be much more comftorable to drive. --- Update to the previous post... Does your steering wheel feel tight as in seems like it takes alot of force to steer it going down the road? Soon as my mechanic jumped in mine to go for a drive he said it steered awlfully hard.
  18. I only wish they were $60 here! Try $130+...
  19. Yea i'm not sure what's going on with it. I am driving it alot today and find it's sticky in the corners and when sitting here in the yard, I can start turning the wheel to the right while i'm watching the front tire, I can turn the steering wheel a bit, it feels tight then it's like a release and the tire will start moving. Could a bad bearing in the steering column or a bad power steering pump do this? Brakes have been working A-1 so I wasn't really thinking the pump
  20. So a bit of an update to my new box...last fall when I put it onand the new shaft, I noticed when turing to the right, like pulling out of a driveway, when turning the wheel I would feel like sticky spots, or not quite a smooth turn, to the left it was good. I kind of chalked it up to a bit of air in the powersteering pump or something whereas we did the change. I laid my truck up after only driving it a couple miles and I got it back on the road today...same feel after about 50 miles or so on it. I know all the front end is good, had it all checked before I made the purchase to make sure I wasn't missing anything. One thing the mechanic said when putting the new shaft on and hooking it to the box, was that he had to fiddle with it to get it to connect due to the angle I'm guessing. He said if the feel doesn't go away he'd want to look at the shaft again. Anyone else put a new box and shaft on and get a similar feel when cutting the wheel? It's not bad, but for new parts I want to get it right. Has a feel like air, but I would think any should be worked out now
  21. LMAO ! I wish I could've been there to see his daughter's face when she watched that video for the first time...from her friends computer! As for Dr, Phil's interview about it... I Hope she does break curfew..i'd love to see him blow up the car
  22. I added the 2" leveling kit from them, used my stock shocks, didn't have to change anything
