  1. The first pic at 30 is with the truck running normally and the second pic is of the truck running with the alternator fuse pulled. My meter doesn't read like yours so I wasn't sure. The problem is only intermittently so removing the alt wire most likes wouldn't tell me anything.
  2. Happy late Birthday Mike!
  3. Edge and BD used to use 8 hole nozzles. I have never had a mpg change when changing injectors and I have changed from small 8 hole to large 7 hole.
  4. Welcome Frog, my dad lives in Denton too.
  5. I believe they do the exact same thing so you can only use 1
  6. I had a shop in Tampa rebuild my oe alternator for $99 a few years ago. My buddy is fighting this right now, had to go down to winter haven Friday night to pick his truck up. Got there and it started but and died about 10 times while trying to load it on the trailer. Batteries went dead and the air dog wasn't working right. It would either not come on or come on and pump up about 5 psi or jump up to 20 and the truck would fire, run long enough to slam it in gear and drive 2 ft. He is getting a 1689 code but we haven't torn into it yet to figure anything out.
  7. I have a triple disk and billet input and I went with the $99 eBay flex plate.
  8. No, it had Contagious built 7x.010. It had a white puff with both sets but stopped after changing the ecm
  9. ^^^^ I have been running these group 31's in the last two trucks. I think Costco carries Deka and they are good batteries too.
  10. I thought I was having a problem with them once so I sent them back to Lee to see if there was a problem, he sent back a new set within a few days and problem still persists. Turned out to be my ECM making a puff of white smoke on startup. My buddy has also ran several sets in DD and his pull truck, currently running a set of 5x.025. I have a set of JL Machine in my 95 and they are great too!
  11. Lee and the guys at Contagious Diesle build great injectors too. I ran the're 7x.010 vco in my 98 and it ran great!
  12. Yes, Mr. Prine is great! Video won't play for me either

  14. If your going with a Fass Titanium there is no reason in keeping the stock ff housing or lift pump. Hi can get a fuel pump block of plate for a big block Chevy for $10 at the parts store that will bolt right to your cummins block. You can also get some 1/2" stainless spacers to put in place of the ff housing or just get shorter bolts from ace hardware.
  15. Dual disks from southbend and Valair come with flywheels.
  16. Or if you need to get off a little cheaper, you can replace your filter housing with a 2000 and newer housing. They have the spin on top with drop in filter and you can use the Baldwin 7977 5 micron filter made for the common rail trucks. I just put the Fass titanium on my 95 and it's a great setup, I have never been let down by FASS!
  17. I would go for a dual disk, but not two ceramic faces. Valair has a dual disk organic that I'm sure is great and I know for a fact that SB has a good 3250 that I believe it ceramic/organic. Put one of the SB 3250 in my buddies 2005 with G56 and it was a great clutch. I have met Dan Vallance from Valair and he is a stand up guy, he got my money when I had an nv4500.
  18. I got a 4" pvc connector and cut it down to about 2" long, it fits in the BHAF and the tube goes over BHAF.
  19. My 98 hated it! Idk about jumping or being jumped but anytime I used the winch, it would high idle until I turned the truck off and back on again. It did it with my quad xzt+ and edge comp, course it never did it again with the p-pump
  20. Led recons are garbage! Last time I bought aftermarket cab lights, I went with Pacer with standard bulbs and never had any problems. You will have to trim the rubber around the bulb socket to get them to fit inside the pacer or recon housings as the oem sockets are a bit bigger.
  21. I wish I could share some of our rain Mike. Look at our weather down here, it's has rained every day for almost two weeks. Maddox and I were catching catfish in the street a few days ago with a 5 gallon bucket and a leather glove. We are completely flooded with no sign of it letting up.
  22. Yes, a lot of us have been running them this way from the gitgo. Make sure you get yourself a 1/8 needle valve, Napa used to carry weather head 6820 but they recently switched to gates and they don't work. Eric at http://www.vulcanperformance.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=Needle+valve&Submit= can send you one
  23. Fass will send you their new bracket with the titanium that you mount up to the bed mount. No holes to drill, just drop the bolt and put it through their mount. Mine is tucked up where you cannot even see it without crawling under e truck.
