best towing turbo for 100 ddp injectors
Finally got to hook up my 20' gooseneck trailer last night. It was pouring rain and I had a 2&1/2 hour trip ahead of me so I ended up turning around and coming back home but this 62 shined. I don't know if it was the mid 70's degree and rain but this truck ran great! I am going to pick up another truck this weekend for its frame and 3.54 axles so I will see how it pulls with some weight behind it.

blackstone lab report advise.
They usually get my results back within two weeks of me sending it off.

2nd Gen fuel filters
I ran the pf7977 after I upgraded to the later canister in my 98. Had a Fass running 47 psi through it and the "Restrictive" banjos.

battery tenders
I assume it does, I have it hooked to the driver side battery and they are connected. When I first plug it in, the charging light comes on and then the desulfate/charge light comes on.

battery tenders
I use this one http://www.batteryminders.com/12-volt-on-board-charger-maintainer-desulfator-12151?page_context=category&faceted_search=0 , my neighbor says battery minder works different and he likes them better than a battery tender so I got this one on my truck. It's strapped to the fuse box under the hood and I run a short extension cord from it through my bumper to a cord I leave plugged into the house.

Low Smoke Passing Power
Your not saving yourself anything by not tapping your pump. You can turn that edge up to level 5x5 and your only getting about 65 hp because your actually giving it no more over than an edge ez would. Tap the pump and go from there, you will probably want larger injectors but you might be surprised.

fuel module
I fixed mine! Pulled the sump out and reached inside, I could feel the float rubing the side of the tank. I loosened the ring on top and twisted the basket from the bottom until the float moved freely. Went and filled up and gauge is reading full!

Low Smoke Passing Power
F1's are over priced, lots of good builder out there.

fuel module
Do you mean just adding pvc to the basket to make up for the part I cut off or replacing the entire metal piece with pvc?
-
fuel module
I'm going through this right now with my 95 but it's been discontinued from mopar and I cannot find any aftermarket either. My basket is rusty and I foolishly cut the bottom off and now the gauge reads 1/4 tank.

Tow Mirrors
I had manual kool vue on my 98 and they were pretty good with not much shake. Put kool vue power and heated on my 2005 and they shook like crazy. I went with mopar on this 95 and other than loosing power, they are great. Little to no shake down and not to bad folded up. Got them off eBay from a dodge dealer in Texas.

Drop in injectors
They should have came stock instead of the original injectors. Get a good set of 7x.010 (150) and don't look back. My truck ran great with them and egts were controllable. I ran Contagious Diesel's and would recommend them to anybody.

best front brake pads for the buck
I like ceramic pads, use Wagner thermoquiet on my jeep but couldn't find them for my truck so I went with wearever silver or gold ceramic from advance auto.

Nice Mike! I love the husky liners!

to trade or not to trade.
As much as I like a 6 speed too, I like the early 305/555 cummins better and a built auto kicks butt!

gearing advice
My truck also has 4.10 and it pulls great but my mileage suffers too, 16.5 is best I have gotten. I think 4.10 would be the way to go for you or sell the wheel and tire setup and move back down to a 33-34" tire.

grandpa's truck what to do

Welcome! If your using the mobile app, I think you can scroll down to the bottom and go to the full site version. I know it's easier for me to navigate but I haven't spent much time on the mobile app.- grandpa's truck what to do
No, he should keep this truck or give it to another family member that would treasure their grandpas truck and not rice it out. I do wanna see it though- grandpa's truck what to do
I would take pics of this truck for us before you do anything, might be able to help you better if we can see what your working on. ;)- Blackstone lab/ oil reports
98whitelightnin replied to 98whitelightnin's topic in 2nd Generation Dodge Reliability / PerformanceI have been using Blackstone for the last several years and never thought about amsoil but I might use them next time because I am a dealer and if I can get a discount I will.- Blackstone lab/ oil reports
98whitelightnin replied to 98whitelightnin's topic in 2nd Generation Dodge Reliability / PerformanceCant remember the number but it's a big Baldwin so probably the PA2820- Blackstone lab/ oil reports
98whitelightnin replied to 98whitelightnin's topic in 2nd Generation Dodge Reliability / PerformanceIt's a Baldwin filter, and all my clamps, boots and gaskets seem good. I replaced the intake and horn gasket before this oil change. My boost leak tester shows no leaks. I went 2500 miles on the first oil because the truck was new to me and I wanted to see how it was doing, also the same reason I didn't get a tbn. Got a tbn on this last report and went over 5k miles. Oil was rotella 15w40 but now I'm using premium blue and the oil filter is a Baldwin 7317. The turbo looked really clean when I bought the truck and still looks clean. When I changed the intake gaskets I vacuumed the intake out like crazy when my buddies said fire it up and burn it. I cover the turbo anytime I have the filter off also.- Blackstone lab/ oil reports
Just got my second oil sample back from Blackstone and all looked good except silicone. What causes silicone levels to be high? I thought it was air filter but it had a new Bhaf the entire run. Had stock air box and clean looking filter when I got it and silicone was high then too. - Newbie from Colorado
