  1. Don't have a computer anymore, only this iPhone and an iPad
  2. How do is shrink it? I'm new Mike and I need all the help I can get lol
  3. Trying to upload a photo but I'm getting a problem 200 message
  4. It's working correctly now, it's just a booger to get used to flying and any amount of wind makes it hard to control. I flew it up high out of the backyard the other day and the neighbor dogs were all barking so I knew if it crashed in one of their yards it would be trashed by time we got to it. The battery was dieing and I pushed the home button but it started going down in the neighbors yard. I throttled it up and luckily got it back on our side of the fence for a nice crash landing.
  5. It seems to work the same way no matter if it's in headless mode or not. Maybe we just haven't figured it out yet
  6. Maddox got one too Mike but there seems to be a problem. Trying to go into Headless mode doesn't work. Push the headles button and the headlight is supposed to go out but instead, it flashes and flies the same as regular mode. Other than that, this thing is coool!
  7. I have some of the opt7 led's in my 2012 and although the headlights are above and beyond any stock second gen lights, they still needed a little help. These led's are very bright at I think 65 watts. No snow down here in Fl but been in plenty of rain and they do great. Here are a few before and after pics.
  8. Maddox is getting one of these for Christmas
  9. I put a flip up pioneer in my 12v that works great! It was a discontinued model that sold new for $500 but got it off eBay refurbished for $299
  10. Is it holding up good Mike? Thinking about getting Maddox one for Christmas
  11. You got the last year of a great truck! Boost gauge isn't necessary but more of a tool to me, it's nice to check for boost leaks and engine performance. I always carried one of those clear funnels with tubes from Walmart and added 1oz per gallon of 2stroke after each fuel up with good results. Idle should be the same at all times unless it's cold outside and high idleing to aid in warmup. Truck should have a 190* t stat and run between 188-194 so I wouldn't change a thing. Good luck with the new truck and post up some pics if you've get them.
  12. Seems like I had cel too so I just took out the bulb. Thinking back, that cel may have come up when I p-pumped the truck but either way, I removed the bulb.
  13. I've been using one for 10 years with a dust cap and never a problem unlocking it. I've pulled a trailer nearly coast to coast with it and never even thought about it being a problem. I leave it locked in the hitch on my truck all year long. 14. I would talk to the folks at Valair over in Mineral Wells
  15. With my suggestion, my buddy just put a Bluetop on his 2nd gen and he loves it. He rebuilt his stock box before and kept having trouble out of it so finally bit the bullet and couldn't be happier.
  16. thinking of you and your mom Mike, hopefully she is better soon.
  17. A buddy of mine and I had basically the same mods done to our 12v trucks, except him with nv4500 and mine was built 47rh. Both compound turbos and a lot of fuel. He replaced 3 new rebuilt nv4500's while my Goerend 47 keeps on going. I was always a manual guy too until I got my auto built right.
  18. I have used a few wraps of electric tape in the past and it worked fine
  19. If you want a power increase that you are going to actually feel, you need 7x.010. You will be going backwards with rv275's since you currently run 75hp sticks already. There are a lot of reputable builders
  20. I actually sold the truck to my buddy and I told him to do the ac test but I'm not sure if he ever did it. Found a pcm from a local guy with a 95 2wd truck, it's the same part number but the only difference is the 4wd light doesn't illuminate. Truck runs great!
  21. Ended up having more problems like tach falling to 0 and all gauges going crazy. Replaced the pcm and all is good
  22. The guys at smarty or dap used to loan a smarty out for the price of the unit and you could return it after the flash. Talk with Dillon or one of the other guys at smarty and they can get you an auto file written, good bunch to work with.
  23. My buddy was driving the truck yesterday and it was messed up and not going into 4th. He started shifting manually and accidentally hit neutral and when he brought it back into D, everything was working normally.
  24. Drove the truck for an hr today and lost overdrive about 40 minutes into the trip but the ac is working fine. I'm thinking this is a pcm issue
