I just put spicer greasable ujoints in my front axle. The rear greasable joint is a 5160x and under $15 at rockauto.

What is your caster set at?

I did this a few years ago. I got a donor truck and used both ecm and pcm from it with no cel.

My truck was the same way, neither front speaker worked. Both tweeters and rears worked fine. Two new 6x9’s in the doors and they all work now.

Im the same way, I do all my own work. I did have my 47rh built by a shop, have alignments done tires mounted/balanced. I do everything else myself, I dont trust other people around my trucks. Ive seen to many so called experts do shoddy work for big money.

I know! The reason I have this left over ev1 boost gauge is because I swapped it all over to ev2 and they look a bit different.

I don’t currently have any gauges but I have an isspro ev1 boost gauge from another truck but didn’t want to spend $200 on matching egt.

I also left the amps in place. I drilled a tiny hole in the body of the new speakers and screwed the amp to it and plugged them up. I hate cutting and splicing wires.

What about the fuel shut down solenoid?

I don’t mind adding a plug to the end but I don’t want to start splicing into the harness. I can’t solder to save my life and wouldn’t trust my wiring capability out in the elements.

Thats who I have purchased from in the past but mine came with trailer wiring, it just seems like there is no plug on the end like I think there should be.

I ordered a Curt 56071 but upon install, found my truck doesnt have any plugs. Ive put these in the bed of other dodge trucks in the past and its a simple plug and play. Did some trucks not come with plugs? My truck came with trailer tow group and has the 7 way plug under the bumper but it looks like a universal style plug. I guess the po may have changed it out for some reason. Should I try to find a factory unit from a wrecking yard and then splice a plug into my harness? I really hate wiring and being color blind has never helped.

Had my Bluetop for a month or so and its good and tight. Thats a Mexican Block. Had one i my 98 24v and I assume it was a replacement for a cracked 53 before I got ahold of the truck.

My front joint had inner locking rings but the back two were both outer. Joint on both ends were good but the center was dry.

Mike, where did you find the dust boot for the ball? Ive found one that seems to be universal to most driveshafts, Spicer 2-86-418. Also im on rock auto and want to use dana spicer greaseable or skf but there are many different part numbers. Are both rear joints in the cardan the same part number?

How would 12v injectors work with higher pop pressures? I know my last 98 truck got great mpg after I p-pumped it. I kept the 7x.010's set at 305 bar. Truck started and ran great

My drivers seat was in pretty good condition until I climbed in on my knee and was reaching to the back seat and the bottom wire cage gave out. I visited several wrecking yards today and didnt think about that wire until just now.

I put a brace on mine that was only $50 on ebay. Its not the DOR style but I wouldnt waste a penny with that guy after all the negative comments ive read about his business.

What BHAF are you using? They aren’t all created equal. I always had good luck with wix/Napa and oil samples proved they did their job. I got a Donaldson or Baldwin one time and it didn’t have the internal cage like the wix/Napa and just didn’t seem to be made as well. I also use a 4” sleeve of plumbing inside the lip.

I have changed out many sets of injectors from mild to wild and never noticed any significant fuel mileage decrease increase.

Maybe try some mineral spirits?

Is your engine getting up to operating temp?
