  1. I have built them out of welding cable or cut the junk terminal ends off and crimped brass ends on and then used military style terminals on the batteries.
  2. I never had a minute of trouble out of any Fass pumps. My original 150 hpfp from 2006 to 2012, replaced by a 125 built for 12v pressure. My new 125 titanium for my 12v always holds over 40 psi unless the tank is dry.
  3. I replaced the lower blend door in my 2005 with a heater treater door and they both ended up broken. I cut the box for the first door and my buddy removed the box for the second door. He didn't have a heater treater door for the second one so I had him put the heater treater door on top and the plastic door on bottom so I could easily replace it when the time came, then I sold the truck.
  4. Power driven diesel is who i saw had this but it must not be the same product I was thinking of because the one I am talking about is upwards of $600 unless power driven made some cheaper. Power drivens web site has been down for maintenance but give them a call, I have a set of their delivery valves in my 95 and I talked to him on the phone before placing my order. He seemed like a good guy.
  5. Yes, there are two harness and you will plug the black harness and grey harness into your factory wiring, very simple.
  6. I think they called it AFC Live, it's the newest thing floating around for 12v.
  7. im color blind so matching some of the wires from the radio to the grey and black plugs is always a challenge for me.
  8. 212 seems to high for just stop and go unloaded. It's probably reading atmospheric pressure at idle which is about 14.7 pounds. Love my scan gauge, it won't work in my old 12v but I use it for reading codes in other vehicles.
  9. I didn't need a different ecm or pcm with the swap in my 98. I did however swap them anyway but just because I'm anal about little things that don't matter to most. The only difference you will notice with your auto ecm, is you won't have the take off assist that a factory manual trans will have. Smarty can rewrite your ECM to have a manual tune instead of swapping as well.
  10. I have seen a two wheel drive Dually pull the sled about a foot. Gotta have a ton of power and the right tires to move the sled with 2wd.
  11. I'm not sure Timken being American made is any better than FM being made in China. My last Timken hub assembly was loose after 6 months and just a few thousand miles. The new set I replaced them with have the same amount of play so I'm going to live with it but I'm not happy about it.
  12. Idk if it makes a difference, but my buddy runs a 6.7 dampener on his 12v with his mechanical belt driven fuel pump. It's the DTT mad pump, not the fuel boss. He took it to a machine shop and told them to make it to where it would fit like the stock dampener. Idk what they did to it but he likes it. I believe it's fluid filled and a little bigger.
  13. Welcome Timmy!
  14. It is automatic, it charges and then keeps it charged and desulfates them.
  15. The radio will pick up reception without the antenna hooked up but it won't be good
  16. Have you checked the antenna to make sure it's hooked up in the back of the pioneer?
  17. When I got my 12v it had 7 psi at idle, I put on the tork teck adjustable ofv and it went up to 30. The stock lp was leaking so I put new o-rings in it and never could get it to prime and start again. The new Fass is supposed to be set at 47psi but my fp gauge only reads to 40psi and it stays pegged.
  18. If you order from http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130X4700BT/Pioneer-DEH-X4700BT.html?tp=5684 , they will have everything you need for plug and play. I have last years model of this radio and it's great! They used to send free instal gear but looks like they are charging $15 now. They have excellent customer service and support if you need it too.
  19. I had the same problem with this 95. Only passenger front door worked when I got it and then all but the driver rear speaker outdoor work at times. Pulled the 1994 pioneer out and put a new pioneer in and all speakers work. You can get a pioneer radio from Walmart for about $130 that does nearly everything you could ever want, including Bluetooth. You can hook your smart phone to it and listen to music or the music can play via Bluetooth. Really a great radio for the money!
  20. It wasn't to big of a job, could have done it in a day had I not been waiting for weeks on parts. It was a good learning experience too! Yes, the pump is what makes them sound different and the exhaust actually smells different too. I will try to help with any questions you have.
  21. I haven't found anything bad about 12v trucks like the 24v's have. Injector pumps last forever and the lift pumps are pretty reliable too. P7100 pumps are quieter by nature than the vp44, my 24v got quieter after I p-pumped it. You can buy a new dash top from dodge but most of the other parts will have to be sourced from parts trucks.
  22. I take your 106 and 13% humidity over this 92 and 75% humidity any Day! It's been horrible here, just awful!
  23. I have had these cup holders in both my second gen trucks, they are absolutely a must. They work with auto and manual transmission in all the second gens I have had.
  24. My original Fass pushed about 17 but I sent it back to Fass and had them upgrade it when I p-pumped the truck.
