  1. No codes. I ran the instrument cluster test and it didn't illuminate so we'll check the bulb. I'm Hoping that's it but it's definitely not firing the grids. We're going to check in the morning when it's cold
  2. Good morning gang. My uncles 99 has no wait to start light however the grids cycle after it starts. With a test light there is no trigger from the ecm when you cycle the key. No codes and it runs great. It also has a new IAT sensor. Thanks in advance for any guidance
  3. I see very little variation in my readings as well and my numbers are very close to the ones you're seeing.
  4. Hopefully that will keep it reading true and not plugging up.
  5. You should have enough hose to route then the way you want. My DSV fitting is facing the same way. I had enough hose to run to stock filter housing then to vp and still had about 16" left. Never used the 1/2" line that came with the big line kit. Awesome thread with great pics by the way
  6. just above where the in tank pump was mounted. Yours is cut out now where you have a larger return for the FASS. I just used the quick connect that came with my pump that has a quick connect to the stock suction. I hope that makes sense
  7. I went a similar route as dripley and my vp returns through the OE quick disconnect and Fass returns to the OE pick-up. I just did what Eric said the disable the check valve so all the return fuel goes right back into the basket. I've only ran it down just until the fuel light turns on at 1/8 of a tank and all was well so far
  8. Ya the kit comes with all the fittings needed to do it.
  9. When I installed my FASS I kept the stock filter housing plumbed in and you also keep the fuel heater. I also added the big line kit from vp to filter
  10. I totally agree with you on that one! I think I had almost every pocket screwdriver I had wedged in there before it finally popped loose. It was worth it in the end...I didn't want to cut a hole in my tank unless I had to.
  11. Just west of Golden CO about 9300' this morning.
  12. I'm Not positive on the dodge AAM but my duramax had a drain plug on the bottom. Maybe worth a look.
  13. I don't know if any of the guts are the same as a 241dld but I have all of them from the a spare I got when the case halves cracked on my old 99'. Your welcome to them if they will work. My 2000 has the dhd so I'm definately looking forward to a write up
  14. It has threads just spin it off.
  15. I would also check the wires at the seat going to the heaters or possibly a broken wire in the heating element itself. Pretty common on the outer edge where the upholstery tears
  16. You too man! I'm glad it worked out! I'm sure your truck is breathing a bit better and best of all no cracked air box
  17. Haha! Looks like a 24 hours of Lemons car!
  18. That's the same stuff I have in my parts washer. It works great especially if you let the gunge soak it up. Rinses off nice and clean!

  21. Congrats on the new truck! I had the in tank pump set up and went with FASS150, a vulcan draw straw V and a vulcan big line kit factory filter to vp. Very happy with everything from vulcan and DAP
