  2. I'm Running these from Anzo and like them a lot. I've also installed them in 2 other family members 2nd gens as well. http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts/anzo_diamond_clear_headlight/ANZHE7625.aspx# I believe @klcammie and @CTcummins24V are running some nice sport housings
  3. My 99 saved my life after an elk shot me into a 3rd gen. So I. Figured saved my life once I found my 2000.
  4. My 2000 has 289k on it now no issues. My uncles 1999 has 339k on it but 3rd gear is getting a little notchey. Both trucks tow quite often. Just my D'OH!!!....just re-read I was thinking 5-speed
  5. Hauled a new toy up to Colorado today needs a few little maintenance things but runs like a champ and couldn't pass on the price. 1965 case ck 580
  6. I probably have the same 2 switches sitting in my toolbox. I had read the repair thread on CF when mine broke but like yourself all of my pieces were there so I just glued them until they let go again
  7. I did the super glue "fix" about 6 months ago and still going strong
  8. New Mexico @ 6200' is very much like the front range but when I'm in Colorado the house is at 9300' but I get the winds off the continental divide up there. I have the best of both worlds every other week.
  9. You should be able to go into your photos, edit and then crop to size it down. That's usually what I have to do posting pictures from my phone
  10. @JAG1 we're you thinking of Transfer-Flow?
  11. My family has a ongoing statement "count the lug nuts!" I have a cousin that was in law enforcement and he always said in accident investigations the one with the most lug nuts won.
  12. @Dynamic Good morning fellow members! I have a 1979 Chevy Blazer stock rust bucket v8 305 TH350 that is our plow vehicle in Colorado. Recently it has started having a minor delay going into reverse and last night it's actin like reverse is not engaging completely...kind of skipping. I have had a couple of these apart but I'm not very knowledgeable on the exact way to diagnose this. I believe reverse and 1st share the same clutch pack(correct me if I'm wrong) it really seems like a pressure problem? Any and all suggestions are welcome.
  13. Just thought here. Maybe take the rear shocks loose at the rear axle so they can't dampen the movement as much...get under the front end while a buddy or two get the back bouncing to unload the front
  14. @TFaoro a good station in golden is at 93 & Iris (loaf'n'jug). That's where I top off before heading up to the top of Golden Gate Canyon every other week. Never gelled in my truck or my uncles. It was -11 Thursday morning when I we out to start mine.
  15. What is the condition of the rubber like? Is it sticking out beyond the metal? Is so its probably on its way out letting the outer ring slip. Maybe enough vibration to create a static charge? this is what mine looked like when it was slipping.
  16. I had a very similar looking 241dld in my old 99' 2500. The centering ball was toast and gave no warning/vibration until I was backing a trailer uphill in the snow
  17. We should definately meet up at the cruise sometime! Maybe get@TFaoro and @Me78569 to come along.
  18. The Golden super cruise is a blast! There is a white 300 that was at the last cruise in September with a cross ram 413. I'm a sucker for the big block land yachts!
  19. Welcome! Everyone around here is a great bunch!
  20. Getting extra fluff blown into the attic is definitely worth it. thats worst area of heat loss next to windows and doors. It helps keep the heat inside in the winter and the heat out during the summer. No attic in my latest project. Converting an 1895 carriage house into a guest house. R39 minimum in the roof and r21 in exterior walls.
  21. Good to hear things coming back together!
  22. I have used a very similar(if not the same) plow branded as a snow sport. It worked decent until the snow is deeper or builds up too much then it tends to stay on top and not move as much snow. It's worth a try. There are a few styles of receiver mounted plows out there.
  23. If I wasn't so far away I'd be more than happy to get your RV to you. I'm sure any of us would.
  24. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you
