  1. Yes you can get to all the screws. I've replaced a few dashes now and used @Mopar1973Man 's article as a guide. I didn't need to pull the HVAC box so I just rolled the dash back toward the seat.
  2. I have ran Piaa 520's in ion yellow they are awesome in the snow/rain/fog. You do not get the blinding reflection back at you. They also illuminate highway signs and animal eyes at night better then white light. As far as LEDs I had a pair of 6" rigids and a pair of their yellow lens covers to snap on and off. The only downside to the LEDs was snow slush rain would freeze on them in the winter whereas the halogens had enough heat to keep the lenses melted.
  3. 1aauto.com has oe style flip out towing mirrors that work great
  4. I just tapped another spot for my Quadzilla probe.
  5. @dripley here you go!
  6. They are different. Here's a good article for a rebuild if you have to get into it.
  7. If you guys are passing through Albuquerque and need something or a place to crash let me know.
  8. If you guys are passing through Albuquerque and need something or a place to crash let me know.
  9. Mine are hot enough to not touch for long after a little highway and some stop and go. Maybe 3 or 4 seconds on pressure. The return is cooler but still toasty.
  10. @trreed Do you ever get out around the Tamarack ranch? Jumbo reservoir?
  11. What part of Arizona?
  12. That sounds good. I'll let you know when I'm back up there. Probably will be toward the end of the month. back in NM for a few weeks
  13. You should let me know when you're coming up in my neighborhood so we can meet up. I was up scouting around the old Apex mine this week. My place is at the top of Golden Gate canyon (hwy 46)
  14. Upper control arm?
  15. This is what I ran on my Dmax. Different design for the same purpose. http://www.merchant-automotive.com/10186-Transmission-Rear-Housing-Support-Brace.aspx#productTabs1 I haven't seen any design like this for the 48RE
  16. Have you ever taken Loveland pass? It's not that bad of a climb at all and much better scenery than the tunnel. Williams fork is a cool area!
  17. Both of mine are OE as well
  18. Both new brackets for about $50. Well worth it. That picture was just a comparison between the old and new.
  19. It was finally time for front rotors and pads so I went ahead and did the 3rd gen caliper brackets, rotors and pads. I've ordered the brake line kit @jlbayes suggested a Russell 694540 as well. All I can say is it's well worth doing! Thanks @trreed for the positive report back after doing the conversion and towing with them...and I "borrowed " your pad comparison picture from your thread.
  20. @trreed now that you have had some more time with your 3rd gen brakes are you still happy? I'm due for brakes on mine so I think I'll pick up the caliper brackets, rotors and pads.
  21. I've been looking into doing a bypass system on mine as well but like you I did want to mount the filter in the typical spots.
  22. Oil bypass return line is my guess. What setup are you using @Dieselfuture?
