The RV: should I buy it?
I'm working on getting the 'model' of the RV, but anyway, here's the scoop... My dad passed away last year. Mom has since began the task of estate sale, selling the house, etc., and will be moving in late June. She bought a 38ft gooseneck TT and parked it at my brother's house. He lives on ~5 acres, and has a huge 40 x 60 shop out back. He's in the process of tying in septic and such for mom's TT. It's just her and two dogs now, so the 38' x 12' (bumped out) unit will be her new home; that's what she wants... So, to get to the RV portion.. Dad had a 1988 or 89 Ford E350 chassis Class C motor home. It's got a 460 (not sure if it's carb'd or FI), 28ft long, AC/heater, shower, toilet, sleeps 6, kitchen, etc. Onan generator, good grief, I don't know what all else. IIRC, it's got new tires, and I believe around 45-50k on the odometer. I don't know the specific model/brand of unit on the chassis, but I'm trying to find out from mom. It really resembles this: http://nationalvehicles.com/viewlisting.php?listing_id=106060 http://nationalvehicles.com/image.php?image_id=703812 http://nationalvehicles.com/image.php?image_id=703800 Anyway, the price offered to me is $2000. It's located in TX, and I'm in Virginia, so obviously, a road-trip or one-way flight would be in order for retrieval. I'm sure the fuel economy is gonna be close to negative LOL

Sad Day for Mopar1973Man!
first mopar was a 1972 Barracuda, Canary yellow with a white hard top, white interior, etc. Hercules Honcho 60s on Cragar S/S wheels all the way around. Of course, dual exhaust. I miss the hell out of that car.

Sure. At night it works okay, too. Daytime troubles, every once in awhile, is sun glare on the lens. You'll be fine, though. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

Backup Camera
Morgan, I've got that same camera. Its so-so.. when in use, it'll flicker as the brake lights are activated and such. Also takes about 5-8 secs to fully focus. View angle is really good, but the night vision portion is so-so, as well. For the overall review, its a decent camera for the price. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

They are extremely close in resemblance, yes. The B20B is a common "big-block" swap for the Civics, as is the B18C1 (Integra GS-R, 175hp) and the B18C5 (Type R, 195hp). My old Civic (96 CX, B18C5 + Turbo conversion. 320whp @ 12psi.) http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg240/scaled.php?server=240&filename=aug004ww8.jpg&res=landing http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg135/scaled.php?server=135&filename=april1534wo.jpg&res=landing http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg84/scaled.php?server=84&filename=april1511pn.jpg&res=landing --- Update to the previous post... Here's a 550whp @ 24psi Integra Type R B18C5 with a huge Garrett on it that I built from the ground, up.. http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg148/scaled.php?server=148&filename=joehksbovegtaj7.jpg&res=landing

Class V Hitch Recommendations
I totally understand the principle behind your need, but I betcha that 48" extension will make a trailer a little on the "twitchy" side ;)

Rebuilding a hydraulic Jack... cornfuzed..
I read it, once I found it online. Still, though, it doesn't really break down what I need broken down to troubleshoot. I think it's all in the cylinder assembly, maybe a piece of trash or something in the fluid that occasionally doesn't allow the valve to close completely.. I dunno..

GPS Navigation
In reading on TomToms website (reviews) there seems to be quite a bit of dissatisfaction about the "free lifetime maps".. Apparently, the maps are free, but the subscription "to" the map section is $60/yr???WTF is that?

GPS Navigation
Bah.. I'm still on the fence as for what to do.. I'm not too rushed about it right now, but will definitely need to make a decision within the next 2 weeks..

mine also mounts to the license plate. The downside is, if you're using it for the hitching procedure, and have a drop hitch (mine is 10k lb. 6" drop) then you'll just barely see the top-most part of the ball. I'll try to get a picture today, if it stops raining..
