  1. sweet! I've got one of those, as well.
  2. good deal.what kinda mileage did you get on that trip, towing? Just curious. How did your trans temps do, as well?
  3. I'm in agreement with others; that temp moves around WAY too fast to be actual coolant temps.. 5-15* swings within seconds just ain't happening, legitimately. Fuse should be under the hood, in the PDM box (driver's side.) 140A fuse, IIRC..
  4. Some info I've saved over time from TDR Timing the VP44 Fuel Injection Pump
  5. ???

Hi, SnoFarmer.I am sorry you feel it was unwarranted, but much has changed, and the last pertinent post (aside from the vendors saying they have something) was almost 2 yrs old.It has nothing to do with "numbers" at all. As you can see, we RARELY close threads, unless they're old, or no longer relevant. Even they, not all get closed; no particular reason why some do and some don't.Old threads about one particular thought need to be stimulated with new blood and different thoughts. I would rather break the chains of old historic information and move forward with new ideas and thoughts, while still retaining that older info for historical search/research.
  6. I like helping friends. but those 'friends' who don't ever return help, they are charged $50/hr, for most stuff, unless it's like brakes, etc., where I'll price parts, factor in a couple hours or whatever, then throw a total price at 'em.
  7. thats really odd.. and I have no answer for you, let alone and suggestions..
  8. Yeah, I asked him last night.. This was for his 1000hp drag car, not his drift car. My bad...
  9. Why did it come on in the first place? Does it NOT work like the OE lift pump, and only prime if the IGN is bumped?
  10. well, now.. THAT sheds new light on already great folks!
  11. does your airdog not already contain a filter assembly? If it does, then is there a reason to retain the factory assembly?
  12. there's a station here in town that sells Biodiesel, $3.69/gal Regular diesel is $3.59/gal. I've never bought the biodiesel, because I didn't know if the truck would run it, or if it would harm anything..
  13. So, we all know about the he351, s300, etc., for 'replacement/upgrade'.. But I have a friend here locally, that asked me if I'd like to buy his turbo. He was working on a project drift-car, but has not been able to move forward, and now needs a little cash for something.. He's got an Innovative Turbo Systems (ITS) GT72R-DBB (dual BB) Compressor Wheel: Aerospace aluminum material 72mm inducer Turbine Wheel: 713C inconel material 82mm exducer A/R Options: 1.10 T4 divided 4" V band, non-gated Whatcha think (JohnFAK, AH64, etc) and anyone else that would like to chime in?
  14. Randy, I swear we have the same damned truck... yours (and it's oddity issues) sounds exactly like mine.
  15. At my old job, years, ago, a guy was jacking around and blowing dust off of him with an air hose and blow gun.. injected his forearm with compressed air by accident. It was quite nasty.
  16. i think i just threw up a little, in my mouth..
  17. It could be worse; he could be drinking Platinum, or a Zima!
  18. see, to me, Lighter Side would be more for that. General Conversation would be more technical randomness. But that's just how "I" perceive the titles ;)
  19. I don't have to work on anything to thoroughly enjoy a beer :)But I totally get what you're saying.
  20. Ok, it's an 1989 TravelCraft 28ft on a 47,000mi. E350 chassis. Engine is either a 390 or 460; that (so far), I am unsure of.
  21. WH6820 OMFG!! Look! From www.napaonline.com!!! The other store across town lists it for $6.02
  22. 12-valve injector (2nd Gen P-7100 pumped) 24-valve injector (2nd Gen VP44 pumped) 24-valve Common Rail injector (3rd Gen CP3 pumped) - - - Updated - - -
  23. preliminary numbers added for all pumps (VE, P7100, VP44, CP3)Subject to change as additional info arises
  24. Why, yes.. Yes, you do ;)
  25. ^^^ That is a pass-through block. Meaning, that it's a one-in, one-out fused circuit design. It allows you to bus-bar a few together (say, 3 of them for 12VDC constant), and the rest for 12VDC IGN (switched, if you will). But as Long-hair stated, ensure your feed circuit is capable to support the desired fuse and amperage sizing chosen.
