  1. Not trying to be a grammar nazi, but wow! LOL ;)I've yet to determine why people pull the bed off, rather than pop a couple lines loose, take 2 nuts off, and drop the tank; that's what I do, and it takes me about 20 minutes to have the tank out from under the truck, with hand tools. :)At any rate, what exactly are you doing? Installing a draw straw?
  2. Nice! 21 minutes is pretty quick.. how often have you taken them out of this truck? Just wondering how tough it is to take them out for 1st time..I miss my 12V
  3. where to get orings and banjo seal thingy?
  4. Going on the original Tuesday and Thursday, What about Tuesday, 8-10p ET, and Thursday 8-10 MT?
  5. I'm working on scheduling times for time-zones, when we can be available.I always pop in to see if anyone's there, or just sit idle on a separate browser tab, if I have the time. :)matter of fact, I'm there now.
  6. Apparently, you haven't seen my Civic.. LOL
  7. that's alot of usuallys, Jordan ;)
  8. For me, the text box takes a long time to load, every time. By long time, I mean sometimes 5-8 seconds. Will this version support the quick-reply box at the bottom of the page(s), for those who tend to BBcode their text on the fly, anyway (me) ?
  9. I concur. I think my MOOG from RA was just a tad over $100.
  10. you can take some of the slack out of the steering box with the adjuster bolt on the box.
  11. Way too many variables to be able to answer that question of longevity..In a perfect world, the trans should last hundreds of thousands of miles. Unfortunately, we're met with part of less than desirable quality, fluid/filter changes that aren't often enough, overworking the capabilities of the units, etc.I put a rebuilt 44RE in a Jeep Grand Cherokee in 11/2010. 21k miles and 16000mi later, it took a duke. This was a $1200 reman trans from a "reputable" rebuilding facility. Roll back 2 yrs, same company... I bought a rebuilt trans for a Ford Windstar. A couple months later, the front pump went out. They sent me a replacement trans, I swapped them, and it's probably got 40-60k on it now, with regular scheduled maintenance, and still going strong. It was a $1400 trans.
  12. #1: Also check shocks.. I've experienced it where dead shocks will violently hammer at the steering, not unlike 'death-wobble' would..#2: no idea#3: My dad had a '92 1/2 ton and it was a 3speed auto. The 1Gen Cummins had a HD version of the A727. #4: Sounds like a definite connector issue, since nothing works.. Do you get any dash lights to trip when KOEO?
  13. Russ, I'm not knocking on them, by any means.. :)I run an HD model, and that's a big difference in price/weight over the SD units. I think no more than you'll be using it, it'll most-likely be fine. A 9' is quite wide to maneuver, and will take a little getting used to, as well any blade sticking 3' out front. Definitely go with a curved deflector. your visibility will thank you.
  14. that's cool. Any idea what the weight of a 8.0 setup is? I know price doesn't depict quality, always, but with many things, it can give you a general idea. So can overall weight of similar materials for like items.. So if company A has a 9' plow assembly for $2500, all metal, and weighs 400lbs., and Company B has a 9' plow assembly that's $5000, all metal, and weighs 700lbs., that would raise an eyebrow for me.
  15. my downpipe is 3", quick-tapered to 4", then down to the under-turn, to 5" all the way back to a 6" SS tip.I am mufflered, but would like to swap in a "test pipe"
  16. Yes, I'm into mine for around $1900. But consider this: it's 5 yrs old, and was $5200 new. I looked at the pathfinder plow website, and the website is cheaply done. Not saying that this reflects their product, but it definitely raised some concerns for me, as well as did their prices. By that, I mean $2500-3000 for a new 8 or 9' plow setup seems quite.. "cheap", for lack of a better word. Just keep that in mind, Russ. Other plows of the same dimensions and such are twice that price.
  17. 8W-51-2 had what I was looking for! Thank you!
  18. I, too, am eastern time zone.
