  1. Yep. Bought generic seal kit from Pirate 4x4. There is a seal between the 2 case halves that was leaking on mine. Replaced that seal and mine quit leaking.
  2. This my 3rd track bar. The OE and 2 Moogs with the larger stud on it. The latest one has about 120k and holding up still. I did have to adjust steering wheel a bit on this last one. Truck seems centered over the cab just fine. The first Moog replacement went on with a full replacement of all the steering joints and all had adjusted. When this goes I will most likely get another Moog. Rebuilt the whole front end with Moog 8 or 9 years ago and it is still going strong for now. This was just prior to federal mogul buying them out.
  3. I have replaced the track bar once since install all those years ago. Have about 100k on the replacement.
  4. They do fail and the engine won't run with no input from the sensor. The lift pump issue could be the ECM or other wiring issues. If you look at the articles section under 2nd gen 24v, engine, and error codes you will see the procedure for checking the 387 code. Sorry I cannot link it.
  5. Did mine with Moog about 8 years and 250k ago and they are still good. For how long is anyone's guess. This was pre federal mogul buy out though. I have no experience with their products today.
  6. You need to get a scanner and check for other codes. The 1693 is telling you there are more codes.
  7. My gauge set up. Mechanical not electric. Got the idea from some named Mikey. Wonder what happened to him? Sorry now I remeber, he got hit by lightening. That is the big line kit with fuel pressure gauge tap and onto the VP. The fuel filter is to the right.
  8. It's made of foam so I suppose I could soak it in cologne and male it an air freshner.
  9. In stock form it is a bit restrictive for sure. A big line kit from Vulcan performance will take care of that. It will replace the restrictive banjo bolts and such. It is a very common modification. Did mine about 9 years ago.
  10. Go from the VP inlet back and see where it goes. Plenty of folks run without the factory filter when using that the dual filter set up that comes with some of the Air Dogs or Fass. The AD 150 should have come with that set up. I still use mine. It is very easy to unbolt and move out of the way.
  11. Not that trip, but I will have one in cupboard before its over with.
  12. I had grits with my eggs and it was all good. Hit one number on the lotto ticket. We just let our methane drift north on the the prevailing winds.
  13. Had an interesting day. Found a new cafe near the job for breakfast. Eating my breakfast I happened to look at my coffee and whatdo I see. Thats a good way to start the day. Then some time during the day I miss salesman. I step in the job shack and what do I find. Got several little trinkets over the years but never a pot to small room pee in. On maybe.
  14. Mine did with the stock box and filter. But the K N allowed the sound thru it like the BHAF, just a bit softer on the sound.
  15. Trust me I know how good it is right now. It has been in the mid 90's and high humidity since June. Just a little cool weather we lucked out on. Its not going to last long. Heat and hunidity is just part living in the SE.
  16. I wish my son felt that way. I told him he was going to take me on my last ride in mine. His response was "It better be running right or I am calling ahead and telling them to dig a bigger hole".
  17. From what I have read your getting a bit heat wave over there, 85f and about 50% humidity here in Georgia today. Right nice.
  18. Had thismhappen to the OE alt. It was still working.
  19. Never did understand why you dould not just buy the sensor alone instead the sensor and bell crank assembly.
  20. Its possible that underhood pic was in seperate thread. Just a hunch on part.
  21. Goog to hear. It dont take much of a leak.
  22. Thars where mine came from.
  23. Maybe thats wny it is blowing off.
  24. Do you still have the clips that hold the lines together?
