Ground Reference VP44,ECM,PCM,PDC plus TC lock/unlock
I worried my self sick over that key but it said in the shaft coming out and going in both times I did it. Still need to exercise care wit though. My second I was by myself. Took my time with that one. Slow and deliberate. Hope you leave Mike some while your fishing.

Ground Reference VP44,ECM,PCM,PDC plus TC lock/unlock
That does suck, but I understand the resting from work part, it his bit me a couple times. The job is not that difficult. An spare set of hands is helpful the first time but did it by myself the second time. My VP has 227k on it and I am awaiting my turn. All of that with 2 stroke and good fuel pressure and one lift pump failure. But I am hoping to get at least 245k for bragging rights with the man who got 243k.

How can I eliminate pcm from 01ram 24v
I cant say that I have ever heard of that nor do I think it is possible. Why do you want to eliminate it?

Control center rat trap on top
Chickens out my way are vegetarians. No vets needed either, just a frying pan.

Control center rat trap on top
We have a very useful device around the house for the few small mice we see. It's called a "cat". Our last cat ran out of mice and started hunting rabbits. He would decapitate them and bring them to the house for us to admire.

i guess dead pedal
Most likely the sensor is shot or maybe a bad connection.

Roof Issues Anyone?????
Mine is a Cardinal made by FR, Forest River. Nothing major ever went wrong with it. When you live in one you just fix the small stuff.

Fuel pump shutoff solenoid
As you have discovered you can wire around the ECM to power the lift pump but you bypass the safety feature that shuts it down in the event of a wreck. You don't need more fuel pressure, you have more than enough. As far as the electronics any electronics that get bad power, mainly AC voltage, are going to fry. Your charging system needs to be in good shape. If I were you I would get the trouble codes read and see what the truck is trying to tell you is wrong. Throwing parts at these kind of issues can get expensive before you find the real problem.

Help - Truck won't start
A non working crank sensor will stop the engine from running. But I do not think it would cause the ground issue you experienced but not positive on that part.

Fuel pump shutoff solenoid
I have to repeat and ask what is this precision pump? It should be returning fuel to the tank.
-
Well the Order is in
You got me on that one. Should read further.

Everyone post a picture of your truck!
You and me both. The only pInt on mine that looks like that is under the black film between the door windows.

2002 dodge lift pump question
Good info above. The pump is shot and not worth replacing with the same style pump.

AirDog 150 - Finally failed
How long is the FASS pump's advertised life span? I don't remember how long the AD much less the FASS systems life span is advertised at. 85k is well short of what I expected for sure. My engine idles a lot also, but only in the winter and the suummer.

Cruise control Slow to Engauge
Manual is fly by wire and auto is vacuum.

AirDog 150 - Finally failed
Air dog had very bad problem about 6 years ago. It went on for a while. They took good beating over it. Fass didnt have that same problem. But after 12 years and 250k miles on a pump I don't think many folks would complain about it, Fass or AD. My AD has about 115k on it now the first one only had about 85k on it when it died. AD replaced it no questions asked. It sucked but they stood behind it.

I can see!!!
Is the CRS kicking in a little maybe?

I can see!!!
One of the hardest things i have learned about getting older is that I dont bounce as well as I used to. I more "thud" now and the shock absorbers are getting a little weaker. Maybe new glasses would help me stay upright.

AirDog 150 - Finally failed
What I meant was can you rebuild the one that failed? From second sentence I am assuming no, except they are sending you a rebuilt motor? That is good they are sending you one. My first one went at about 90K and the free replacement they sent has about 110K on it. Hope that aint a bad sign.

AirDog 150 - Finally failed
Is the old pump rebuildable?

Cruise control Slow to Engauge
Are they not both auto's? If so weak vacuum line or fittings maybe. I need to replace all of mine. They are getting I bad shape.

AirDog 150 - Finally failed
Please do on the pictures. I have my old failed one and would like to get a idea of what's in there before I take mine apart. Sorry to hear about the pump. I think you need to have a memorial service for it after 12 years.

I can see!!!
The first pair I got I let the guy talk me into them. They scratched pretty easy. The second pair I paid for scratch coat. Only thing is they coat it before they grind the prescription so only one side is coated. I always try to rinse them good before wiping them with any thing. Not always possible on the job though so mine get scratched up pretty quick. But with the cost of glasses coming down I can 2 pair of bifocals for about $225 and they last me about a year a half may 2 years. Some that depends on how many times you slam the hood of the on them. I understand the weight difference in the lenses, but I have been wearing glasses lenses since I was 6 years old and I never thought the glass lenses were heavy. Just got used to wearing them.
