  1. I am with you on that one, Ty.
  2. What effects would show up if you dont re calibrate?
  3. The HX came on the manuals. 5 speed, SO and HX. 6 speed, HO and HX. Auto, SO and HY. Pretty sure this is what the 01 and 02 have. prior to that I think it was HX for all. Not sure however. The HO pump is a little different as are the pistons. I would have to leave a better explanation to those more in the know.
  4. I double dog dare ya both.
  5. Does the Timbo apps need recalibration. I had read somewhere that it did not need re calibration. I have not done mine in a while with no ill effects.
  6. a picture of one's self taken by one's self. A selfie. My new droid takes pictures, with a tap on the screen the camera reverses the view and I see my self on the screen and click, there I am.
  7. My superiors decided I should have a Droid, so now I can.
  8. That picture is about 4 years old. Cant figure out what the white thing by the rv is in the satellite picture. Thanks Tom. I'll let you know about the 'normal'. My normal might not live up to others. This is my normal for now
  9. Still alive a breathing. I have been having a lot of life issues of late and it has just been consuming me. Still in Alabama and the job is one of the best I have ever done. I put a lot of extra effort last month and we got it ahead a schedule. That helped me have more time for the other issues. I really appreciate all of the well wishes from you all. Family and Friends are hard to beat. You just can't do much without either. Many thanks, Dave
  10. My setup is similar to yours. I had the in tank pump nodule. My ADII came with a kit to replace it. My pick up is new and in the module. My return from the pump is connected to the old pickup connection and the return from the engine goes into the fuel basket also. It works very well. Never had any quarter tank issues. Return fuel to the filler neck just goes to the tank. All of my return fuel goes to the basket.
  11. That is what Chip told me when I spoke to him about a year of more ago about who he used to rebuild his pumps. He still advertises the pumps with a used, Bosch rebuilt, or a new computer.
  12. My mind can think that way. It is the rest of me that reminds me that I am not 31 anymore.
  13. My 02 came with resonator and no cat. I far as I know 2nd gens did not come with cat converters
  14. Like that TP, but after admiring your avatar for past few weeks, what do use, surgery?
  15. Funny thing is Enterprise AL is in a somewhat dry county. The sell beer thru the week but not on Sunday. So today I go to Troy AL, about 25 mile north of Enterprise and they are in the same county. Turns out I would have to go another 35 miles to Montgomery AL for a Sunday beer. So no beer with my steak b'day dinner. Have to go back to the RV to have one. Think I'll shoot for one for every 2 decades. I should be able to get up from that.
  16. Worked Saturday and am at the job today. Have to go to another job and watch someone seal coat a parking lot. Pretty easy days but still at work. I will get a free steak dinner out of it though. Cant seem to get any takers ant 61 licks. Nobody is up to it, including myself on the receiving end. Going home next week end to celebrate.
  17. Wish him well in the races. I have nto been to a dirt track in years. 800 hp on dirt is impressive.
  18. Steak dinner for myself is coming tomorrow. Appreciate all the good wishes.
  19. A pole I read many months ago stated the 75% of Americans were dissatisfied with the congress. That in its self did not astound me. What astounded me was the fact that 75% of this same group stated that they thought their representatives were doing a good job. This does not speak very well about anything changing.
  20. On mine the rod that was welded to the exhaust for a hanger failed. It was the hanger at the tranny(mines a manual and not an auto). The weld started failing and it came loose from the pipe slowly actuatlly pulling a piece of the pipe with it. I ended up with a 1/2" by 6" slot in the pipe. Over time it got louder and louder until I found it. Did not help that is was directly under the passenger side floor board. If it is getting that loud it shouldn't be that hard to find.
  21. I know when you turn the switch to the start position some of the systems shut down while it is engaged and comes back on when the switch is released. At least my radio shots off, I dont know what else does. Maybe the ECM gets that as signal so it knows the switch position. wiring is definitely not my strong suit.
