  1. The next time you release it, reach down and pull up on the pedal while holding the release lever and see if it goes out. Ther should be some sort of switch there to controll the light and if the pedal does not return all the way the lihgt will stay on. As far as the creeping, they pobably need a little adjustment.
  2. I cant seem to find weight reduction wallet in the FSM. Could you please point out the page number.
  3. Must be some gold in that thing somewhere.I just noticed something, was the kid in your avatar the model for this smiley? The resembalence is uncanny.
  4. The pressure should rise with the rpm. That $89 price tag looked high to me, so I looked at rock auto and whoa!!!!!! $145
  5. I would do anything with it other that use it in the fuel. I am sure someone here could explain why scientificly. I think it would be on the same par as old engine oil, atf, or anything along those lines.
  6. "Ferrari and Cadilac" and Dodge Ram. Not sure the first 2 go with the third one, but you are headed in the right direction. Maybe a 7k pound Ferrari. --- Update to the previous post... just put on new nerf bars, mirrors, and tailgate. Next is oil leaks. Need a little green here too.
  7. I think he meant he was just going to do the ball joints and bought all of the other stuff too.Dont stop there, go ahead and do you tie rods and ends, steering dampner, just do it all. If they have never been changed they probably need it too.
  8. I found the control knob on ebay. They had them for $15 to $50 all used. I got the $15 one. Not sure it came out of a Ram. The back of it hits one of the bolts for the mirror, but it still fit. Might have come out of a Dakota, Durango or some thing. It sitll works fine. Good luck on the passanger side.
  9. It is a very good product and easy to install.
  10. What kind of mileage does a 2500 with a Hemi get? I had a 96 V10 and the cummins gets 60% better highway milage and over 100% better milage towing.Cummins19 to 20 highway11.3 towingV1012 to 13 highway4.5 to 5 towing.I would like to think the Hemi gets better milage, but do not really know.
  11. Mine hung for long time with no code. Maybe some dirt got in there and shorted it hard to say. The grids will not cycle above 60* I believe. Once the truck sees the temp it will shut off the lite if not needed. Just went out and tried it on mine and the wts light went out in less than 2 seconds. Try cleaning the harness and see what happens. If everything else is in good running oder, I dont think you have a worry.
  12. Are these upgrades for your truck? If so is it possible that they sent you to driverside brackets instead of a left and right? When I look at your avatar, I dont see any mirrors on the truck. But the picture is very small for these old eyes. --- Update to the previous post... I went back and looked again and I can see them. I gotta get some new glasses.
  13. You should have a combined wieght limit of 20k by the manufacturer. I am not sure how the individual states look at that though. some might be less but i dont think any would be more than that, legally. I believe Mike posted a list here somewhere showing individual state limits.
  14. I am thinking in the nieghborhood of 7k# depending on what you ride around with.
  15. Mine were plenty long also. I bought them from AM also but did not see Kool View on them. I have new 03 from Kool View at home and but for the box it came in you would not know what brand they are. It makes me wonder who the heck is actually making them.
  16. Both of mine bolted up just fine.
  17. Thats definately a reversal. When I bought mine the 2 auto dualies I looked at were only rated at 16k gross and the six speed was rated at 20k.
  18. I had my intake elbow off several months back for something, dont remember what. When I put everything back together and went for a test drive I hammerd it and it took off then POP and I lost power. I had forgattten to tighten one of the clamps and the pressur partially blew on off the boots off. It did not cme off completly and I had to hunt for it. It s possible you ruptured one and that was the pop. You could take them all off and examine them or better yet pressurize the system with air and look for a leak.I am still working on the pen trick. Thats one we never tried as kids.
  19. Some damage has already been done and the best pump in the world will not overcome it. The new pump will help and you can probably get some more life out of the vp. The new pump I put on mine helped and I got alot more life out of it, but it still acted up occasionaly and intermitantly. Might run grat for a month then act up a couple days in a row. No rhyme or reason to it. I finally changed it out so it would not leave me stranded.
  20. Nice looking trailer. What kind of load capacity does it have and did that giant finger in the last picture crush your rig?
  21. Tow mirrors could have been in the genearl section as well as any other. the seem to come on most all of them. Yours and mine appear identical except for the trim at the door. I quess we can see whos last the longest.
  22. I did get mine and installed them. They are from AM-autoparts.com and are not sold as Kool view. they seemd to be unbranded, but fit nicely and look good. No problem with the breakaway, but there is just the slightest vibration from wind. These were less than $200 also.
  23. Low fuel pressure. It had started the bucking and dead pedal. Thats when I found my pressure to woefully low, in the nieghborhood of 0.5 psi and wot. I installed a booster pump and got that pressure up to 13 or 14 psi at wot and 17 at idle and my problems greatly diminished but were still present. I am sure to low pressure damaged the pump, but ran it for another 2.5 to 3 years. I was very lucky to get that much out of it. some wont last a day withthose probems. The truck started acting up again so I bit the bullet and bought a new pump and before I could get it on the ECM crapped out. Thats another story though, but probably compounded the issue. before it was over with I had replaced my VP, APPS sensor, ECM, and about 2months later an ADII 165 like you. And last but not least a fuel pressure gauge. Very important to keep an eye on that all the time. I am convinced the low pressure is what ruined the pump. Do you know what pressure your AD is putting out? The 8 or 9 psi you had with the fass, was that checked under load or just fre revving?
  24. Mine did it underload especially pulling the fifth wheel. I dont remember it happening while I was empty. Do you know what kind of pressure the Fass is putting out?
  25. Bucking could be the VP. What kind of fuel pressure are you seeing at idle and WOT? --- Update to the previous post... I had bucking issues with Mine several years ago. We detirmined fuel pressure was very low and I added a booster pump to the fuel system and got the pressure up ot a safe level. This really helped with the issue but did not copletely cure it. I also had some dead pedal issues also. I got by with this for 2.5 years and finnally replace both the VP and the fuel system. No problems since. --- Update to the previous post... I am not trying to tell you to run out and buy a new VP. Some more diagnotics need to be done before you spend that kind of money.
