I have about 25k on mine. Trying to wait out the one year before I tap it. I miss levels 4 and 5 on the comp.

No sticks and bricks out my for a VP. Though I am sure l could find one here somewhere that would sell me one for a couple grand.

I have the Dreaded P1689 Code
The 1693 you can forget about. Fixing the others will make that one go away. You will have to go thru the diagnostics for the other 2. This is what you would pay a shop to do if you dont. The electrical system on these old trucks get a bit quircky with age. Connections can get dirty or loose thru out the system. Take the 1689 and work thru it. Dont get hung up on wire color, test between the pins called out. Me I hate electrical problems. Dealing with some of mine have made get into it more and clean things up a good bit. Did that and the WT ground mod to help prevent future problems. There is no mahic bullet here and the parts that might be bad are expensive.

I looked and thats pretty amazing. And if thats the original part # for an 00 to 02 MAP you may not need the pigtail. I am basing this on looks alone. The one next looks like the one that I have on mine now that requires it. The black is what my oe looked like. Of course as I said looks like, I dont know any specs on either of them.

Lost ?
Did you look up that code? That could be your problem. The VP is dying.

What kind of MAP sensor did you find for 15 bucks? And an adapter for 80? Thats the opposite of any I have ever found.

I am speaking of the data from the sensor and not codes from the computer My scan gauge II will get a pressure reading from the sensor while driving. The numbers don't mean much just that they are changing as you throttle up and down. When mine failed the reading did not change.

Broken Alternator mount
I have one of those on my shelf. Came on my 02 and did the same thing several years back.

Code 0237,0112,1475,1689
Will your scanner read the data from the sensors? When mine with the 237 the never changed while driving. I did not have the 112 so it could a problem in 5v supply issue as @Mopar1973Man is saying.

I agree with Mike. You can put air pressure to the waste gate to move it.

Is my ECM bad?
Try returnig your smarty to stock and see what happens. You have a tech telling you you only have 3.7v at the ECM but have 5v at the sensor. Sounds odd me.

HELP? 2007 Dodge Ram 1500!!!
Make sure your flasher is compatible with LED's. The factory one probably is not. I have LED's in second gen with an after market compatible flasher.
