DTC Trouble Code’s. HELP! Please.
If you are going to spend the money get a Quad with V2. It is a better and more versatile tuner for the VP trucks. I have an Edge comp and it works as advertised but anything much bigger than stock injectors and it will be smokey. The Quad is a better investment. Hope to have me one soon.

in tank fuel pump wiring help
Your first link is jsut a wiring harness that will take the electrical load off of the ECM. I f the in tank pump is not working I dont believe the wiring harness will do a thing other than help protect your ECM. That is a good thing but if the pump is bad it wont help the pump. The second link is just to another in tank pump. The in tank pump is a waste of money. You need to upgrade the fuel system to a mechanical pump or electrical AD or FASS pump. Did I mention the in tank pumps are junk?

Code 0237,0112,1475,1689
Right after your post on the cheap MAP sensors mine messed up a little. So I ordered 3 of them. I will try and see if I can swap mine out and be sure the sensors are not junk. 15 bucks for a MAP sensor is stupid cheap. I will try and swap mine with one of those Sunday and see if it works in mine.

Getting acquainted with the new to us Equinox
With a chrome foot for a gas pedal. That was the first car I ever wanted. My old man was helping get a car so he settled for a 1968 Ford Falcon with a small inline six in it. I dont think the chrome foot impressed him at all.

W-T ground mod
Very true. I left that part out. I put flux in the terminal and shoved the expose wire into the flux also.

W-T ground mod
Just remeber the solder and the wire most get hot for the solder to bond properly. Just melting the solder is not enough.

Excessively high load (still) need help figuring this out please
- New DAP VP44 - Hard Start When Hot?
Sounds like the pump to me.- Not starting
You do need to crack 2 or 3 lines to the head so the fuel can get past the VP. When get a good flow thru one close it off. Then look for anotherand close it. By then you should be getting some fire.- airdog 4g 150 install trouble
My pickup line and both return lines go to the basket. For the past 10 years the lift pump will suck the tank dry.- Getting rid of the rust
My $625 for 6 years back in 01 was ok until sometime in 03 and I got tired of writing the checks. Still took me another 3 years to pay it off. 13 years with no car payment has been very nice.- Heater Core
Just another viewpoint. My truck is mostly a pavement queen. I haul some materials in it and the 5th wheel. The rest of the time it lives on the job and is my office alot. It gets in the mud alot and idles alot. So l would say it breathes a lot of dirt and dust while idling. Cant say on max mine has ever sucked a sandwich wrapper up but maybe most anything else. After the evaporator started leaking and the dash was cracking it was a no brainer for me to pull it all. Also after reading @Mopar1973Man's article on pulling the dash, l just dove in. It is not a bad job at all. But you should make time to do it. Dont jump in Saturday expecting to drive away on Sunday unless you are willing dive in with both feet untill its done. I spent 4 days on mine with as many beer breaks as I wanted. It is not a bad job to do at all. I also believe the end results were worth the effort.- Dim left headlight
Glad you found it. My 02 has maybe 6 wires on that stud. The grounds have moved over the years.- Getting acquainted with the new to us Equinox
Hubba...........Hubba!! And folks complain about our trucks.- airdog 4g 150 install trouble
Thats a step in the right direction!!- Engine Stutter/cough on acceleration...is vp44 bad?
But then they're will be no joy of self discovery.- Engine Stutter/cough on acceleration...is vp44 bad?
Dug back in your and see you still have the factory lift pump. The mounting plate blocks the same hole and could leaking. Also the tappet cover, same as @Haggarmentions just a different name, could be the culprit too. Even if its not leaking change it while the VP is out. Much easier that way.- Engine Stutter/cough on acceleration...is vp44 bad?
The factory lift pump was mounted just to the rear of the filter canister. If your pump has been removed/relocated there should be a metal plate in its place sealing a hole in the block. It could have come loose and be venting crank case gases.- Getting acquainted with the new to us Equinox
Goob is right for sure.- Giving the jeep some tlc.
Pretty country out there.- Replace Rear Axle Seal
Just tried to read mine and it is faded. Best I can see Limited Slip 3:55 Dana M80 I believe.- Replace Rear Axle Seal
If you have the camper package it is a D80 isn't it. My sticker on glove box door says mine is a D80.- airdog 4g 150 install trouble
I dont think you should have gotten the supplement. The AD and ADII have the pump return line and your Raptor does not as I am sure you can see. I guess you have cap the open line to the basket.- airdog 4g 150 install trouble
I was looking at the raptor and not the FRP. Matter of fact the instructions that @01cummins4ever posted are the ones I was looking at. I dont see any pump return line they are speaking of in your instructions. I dropped my tank to do mine. it was pretty easy. especially the second time. - New DAP VP44 - Hard Start When Hot?
