  1. This is most often caused by malfunctioning speed sensors. Does it jump on your dash gauge as well? or only the iQuad app? I am assuming that these jumps in speed aren't real and only what is reported.
  2. We are always trying to improve things to make them better. Since the last post of this in November, several things have change and updated including both the app and the base level tune that we are using. Its much more stable now with a lot better feedback than it was back in November.
  3. I will upload the right version here in a moment. Sorry about that. I didn't think I needed to update here because the Play store had the latest version. But thinking about it. I should for consistency's sake. Should be updated now. Because of some weirdness with the numbering system it is actually 1.9.41(61) instead of build (59) which was up here previously. I don't understand the numbering either.
  4. I just posted this in another thread, but I just realized that this is a much better link. First of all, a shout-out to Me78569 for his video on custom tuning the Adrenaline with the Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 custom tuning options. Its just too bad that Youtube flubbed up his video and flipped it horizontally and vertically making it nearly impossible to watch. I put this together and posted it a couple of days ago so it should be there as a resource.
  5. I literally just posted a video to youtube two days ago about custom tuning with the latest V2. @Me78569 had a great video but youtube fubbed it up and flipped it around and its really hard to see. You can at least see the text on this one.
  6. Every time you push in the clutch your transmission is "slipping". In a manual case, it would be closer to clutch slipping than trans slipping, but it is still just a calculation.
  7. All the legacy 4k tunes (including some Beta ones that I've never tried) are found here: http://quadzillatech.com/TunesDownloads/Dodge98024kADR_updates.zip It should say something about standard fuel in the title.
  8. I'm honestly not sure about the beta one. I would put the 4k std tune on it if you are doing some legacy tuning. The 4k hard-fuel is good too, but I think you would like the standard better. After you put the older one back on, if it still doesn't work well for you, send us a note here: http://quadzillapower.com/contact-support/ or PM us.
  9. The MPH correction only uses ABS speed and a tire size ratio to calculate the speed. We do use the tire size, speed, RPM, rear end ratio and transmission selected to calculate the gear and transmission slip ratio. We would need to have better information about the gear and trans slip ratio to calculate the actual MPH given the other parameters. What this means is that if you have larger tires and a corrected speedo via programming, you will probably never have the right trans slip ratio or gear, but the MPG calcuations should still be close.
  10. Yes, but you need the 4k reflash files. If you are running standard tunes it will probably not set the CEL. http://quadzillatech.com/TunesDownloads/V2Tunes/ADR98024kV2.6.1.exe Pretty sure that is the latest 4k V2. It is normal to have to cancel and try again one or more times. Also, make sure that you have a data version of the USB mini cable, not just the charging version. If it still isn't connecting, make sure that the driver manufacturer is Quadzilla, it will be found under the COM/LPT ports and should be called usb to serial converter. If this is a foreign language, you may just need to send it in for us to do it for you.
  11. Yep. What Me78569 said. You are looking at normal OEM timing for cold engines.
  12. During the second crash, did it feel like the whole Adrenaline unit had shutdown and stopped doing the extra fueling and timing or did it run like normal, but not stay connected to the iQuadBT unit?
  13. Yes, what trreed says. Once you start going into wiretap then the ECO and gallons used is more of a rough guideline than an actual number. Its pretty much impossible to calibrate it for the wire tap as it is different for every VP out there. Also, the legacy ADR2_DYNO tune will not show you timing or CAN bus fueling as a sensor, so if those are showing up, its probably not the legacy DYNO tune.
  14. DAP will ship for free if your order is over $100. If you aren't running a fuel pressure sensor add one of those on then you should get it shipped for free. Thoroughbreddiesel.com is a good site too, so is XDP.com, gautoparts.com, puredieselpower.com, and others that carry our products.
  15. Yep, What Me78569 said. We can read and clear codes on 06 and up because we connect into the OBDII port on those trucks. We are working on being able to read and clear codes on the new monitor we are working on for the VP trucks but it may be some time.
  16. Yep. The default base level tune applied to Adrenaline units back in September was the ADR2_1000 tune. Unless you specifically asked for the V2 tune you would have had the ADR2_1000 tune loaded by default. That has since changed and now we are shipping all of them with the latest V2. In order to get your boxed updated, just send your box in to us with this form filled out. http://quadzillapower.com/content/Forms/QuadzillaTestRequest.pdf When we get it we will test it and update your tuning. There is a $15+shipping fee associated with the testing. You can prepay here: http://quadzillapower.com/adrenaline-module-test-and-update-for-dodge-cummins/ or you can wait until we test it and see what's going on with it after we get it. More than likely everything is fine and we will just be doing an update to the latest V2. We try to only keep your box here for 1 day. However, @Quadzilla_Stephenis going to be having a baby this weekend so we might be a little backed up next week. -Thanks again,
  17. I just looked at the order notes for that order. I don't have the exact configuration but they were with 125HP injectors. You also for sure have the ADR2_1000 tune loaded by default on your Adrenaline.
  18. You can find it in the gauge palette or you can find it in the data-log like Me78569 mentioned above. However, I will be very surprised if it has anything but 0. You are more than likely trying to run a V2 tune on a Legacy tuned Adrenaline. You need to update the Adrenaline box to the V2 tuning in order to use the V2 vehicle profile.
  19. kzimmer isn't the only one that got it working on an Android stereo head unit. His is definitely a weird case though. I built him a custom version of the OS to try and get the export to work but it still doesn't. No idea why either. As far as the iOS version is concerned, I believe that there are some head units that will do something akin to screen mirroring from your iPhone. The touch only works on the iPhone, but it will display on your stereo head unit. If someone knows a better way to get it working for an iPhone lets us know.
  20. Just an FYI @notlimah. All of the tunes will use the wiretap when on level 4 and above. -Thanks again,
  21. Yep, what kzimmer said. Also, your estimated gear will be off. There really isn't a good way to fix that other than a highly convoluted method requiring more settings that you would have to change.
  22. You would think that something in the file, some character, something in the binary would be there to explain it, but its just not there that I can see.
  23. The only thing different that I can see is that the values that he exports have a decimal point precision. However, the tune that you sent back for him to load, the "race" tune doesn't have the decimal point precision either but it seems to load load just fine. There is another difference that I just found. There are a whole lot of spaces after the end of the race tune. But those don't exist in the tune that he exported. It really makes no sense to me other than if he tried to load it and the app said that there was already a tune with the name Tow because he has a tune with that name in a different vehicle profile. I would try deleting all of the user data for the app and then trying to load the tune again.Other than that, we would need to find a way to get your xml data where everything is stored and go through and parse it to see where the app thought to store the tune the first time it was loaded.
  24. @notlimah, are you trying to load the tune and it tells you that you can't because one of that name already exists? Or does it not load it at all? What happens when you try to load the stock injector tow tune? Have you tried changing the name to see if it loads in the list?
  25. @notlimah, Can you point me to one of the tunes that you were trying to load that didn't work for you? I would like to see what is different between the two of them.
