Moog has been crap for over 10 years. Advertising by the company is the only reason you still see them around. Why not the 09+ steering? Can be had for $240 to the door if you look hard enough.

"No point in going over 300 bar, often see stalling issues there or higher. Manual trucks tend to lope. I've seen better results at 290-300 bar." What he responded with.

I do agree at this point there is no reason to bother them. If they leak again, get new tubes.

I asked for a reason. I have an extremely hard time believing thread tape sealed a non tapered thread. It is a rather moot point now as you said it is not leaking.

@Carbur8tr, I had a set at 310 bar. My current set is 290 bar. You likely won't see any secrets posted in public.

Usually only when trans & fluid is cold. Reverse or drive it would kill the engine. Let it idle for 5min and it would be happy as a clam.

For the money of a new edge ez and cost of the gauges.....you could have a new quad adr and leave the pump untapped. I know you are looking for a reliable lower hp setup but with the capabilities of the quad and user friendlyness about it. It is going to be hard to beat. I have run an edge ez, was very happy with power and how smooth it was.

Sole reason I tell people NOT to touch their injectors when ppump swapping. The higher pop produces a cleaner idle. Within reason of course as nothing is going going to help my sac 6x.018s lol Auto trucks can be accommodated but it requires messing with the stall speed (raising). Not something most would want to do as expense and down time.

Can you post or send someone a picture of the tube/line that is causing you a problem. Literally never had an issue with them sealing unless dirty or marked up.

Boost Issues?
Another thing, when I had an edge on my truck it would max out at 41psi. Mechanical gauge said a hair over 60psi. Tst would read 53psi (limit of transducer on my turd).

I'd be careful with the potential for over speed at elevation and higher boost levels. Not something we typically talk about with these for some reason.

I am finding nothing on dealerconnect for any flash improvements regarding these trucks. The only thing that we already know about is the Hi-idle tsb.
