  2. Ok this is driving me nuts. On my 97 if you use heavy throttle it will down shift from overdrive & unlock the converter even with switches for both to force lockup & overdrive. I did replace the tps with a tps delete with no change. What does not make sense to me is it will do it regardless of the switches. Yes there is a jumper harness for the trans relay in the pdc under hood. It does have an old school dtt voltage box from a previous owner that I am thinking is going to take a permanent vacation. Truck is all stock, no power mods. Previous owner had recently replaced the electronics in the transmission. Switches are tied into the harness near the pcm.

  12. Potentially. Wil push the seal out if too much pressure is introduced. Most I have seen loctite and stake the seal in.

  15. You need to find a shop that is localish that knows these trucks. A Cummins dealer is not high on the list. Same with a Dodge/Ram dealer.
  16. When I pulled my original vp off it had started acting very badly. It was always a ***** to try and bleed the injectors. This was at 650 whp. It did have about a dozen piercings in the pump wire from previous owners. It owed me nothing. lol

  20. The best brace is from dodge off road. But I agree. you Likely have worn out parts causing your death wobble issue.

  22. @notlimah you are missing a year range in there for the 94-98 trucks. Ppump is higher than all the rest at a minimum of 20psi. @TFaoro will take you a weekend to wrap up the swap if you have everything sitting there. Forgot to mention something last night. You need an intake horn spacer of some sort. Intake plate, spacer or longer horn to clear the lines.
  23. See this is the issue, you need an already established vin. Have anyone local with one of these trucks that is a 5 or 6 speed? One with security would be preferable. Changing a sequence number may or may not produce a result. Using your example of changing the 5 to a 4....doesn't exist in the system.
