  1. Fwiw I've noticed zero difference when adding manifolds to the equation. Just ease of mounting turbochargers.
  2. The fmw and sxe are the same compressor. The sxe only had a 360* thrust to differentiate. I do not see you gaining anything with going to a s300 frame with similar wheel sizes to what you have now.
  3. There is no reason to change a manifold on a stock truck.
  4. If ball bearing was so great they would be on everything. They are not. Tater says a lot of stuff but cannot deliver on any of it. He is a snake. How much power are you wanting? There will never be a large single that will spool fast and make big power. Physics are hard to overcome. Any stock appearing turbo is a grenade, I do not care what the builders say. They are extremely inefficient. A properly sized cover and housing goes a long way in performance.
  5. In all fairness I do not recommend the path I took with my truck to anyone LOL
  6. You, @TFaoro and @Me78569 should all come and experience my truck. You'll wonder why you even own one after lol
  7. I know what ones you are talking about. Sounds like I may be doing another one here shortly.
  8. Oh isn't that a kick in the........
  9. It would not let me move them around.
  10. Similar to what I did but I removed from the head. Did not feel like fighting the line clamps. @NightHawk the truck I replaced a vp on this past weekend was running an edge drag comp. Was on a reman pump. fwiw
  11. Choot, I replaced a vp Sunday. Tried the no removal of lines from the head like a had a couple fb "buddies" say they could to. HA that was laughable.
  12. Death to all tuners! I love the correlations made when pumps die. rofl
  13. Replace. The new tappet can take a new wear pattern from the cam. Moving them around tends to promote accelerated wear of the cam and tappet.
  14. Was just the first one that popped up with the "line" wrench end. The others do not work as well and like to spread I've found.
  15. A crows foot is a good investment. Saved me more than once. https://www.grainger.com/product/12A311?gclid=CK-fiJ2Dk9MCFYuKaQod72YDmQ&cm_mmc=PPC:GOOGLEPLAA-_-Hand Tools-_-Sockets and Bits-_-12A311&AL!2966!3!166596453554!!!g!82128471717!&s_kwcid=AL!2966!3!166596453554!!!g!82128471717!&ef_id=WKMvJAAAAFPZqhME:20170407185748:s
  16. If you have cad you can get the passenger side. Drivers side the carrier has to come out.
  17. I would plan your exhaust brake around the turbocharger you plan on using. Hate to buy something and it not work later. I am not a fan of 3 piece manifolds. Stainless steel one piece are all I recommend. As far as the rest of the exhaust, if you are planning on keeping it forever - stainless. I do not have a favorite brand as pipe is pipe. Though the hangers in proflos exhaust systems are hollow. Keep that in mind.
  18. Yea it is not exactly a fun process. You do not have to re setup the carrier. Just keep the shims and caps to their respective sides.
  19. Stock. Coatings do not last at these heat levels. I would never fly cut either. Compression is a good thing.
  20. They will find a way.
  21. I know your troubles and you are working well within them.
  22. Since this came on fb...again....these are what people see when driving at you with pnp led or hids.
  23. Same here. It is killing me to drive this stock 12v lol Unless you have a few thousand dollars to measure cylinder pressures.....there isn't one. Denial is the first step. ;)
