Coming from the dinosaur stuff.....they do not gain anything with the cam sub 4k rpm. I know of common rail guys getting the vp cams and installing them to ditch the in cylinder egr. I also know a few that have removed the 188/220s from cr due to increased smoke and loss of low end power.

7x0.0085 +75HP SAC Injectors from DAP
Was over 60psi with stock head bolts & gasket, no way shape or form a good measurement on when they will go. I love how my corruption for power is spreading on here.

Exhaust manifold
DD, drag racing, sled pulling. Never towed with it. Egts where as high as 1800* with it. It was fixed with braze once. And it was so hot enough times the braze displaced and settled. The stainless diesel manifold that replaced it, sees over 2k* with no signs of any issues. The only thing that annoys me is how long it takes to cool off.

I know dis. Cams are like messing with stall speed to me. Most of the time changing it just does not work.

The hybrid wouldn't. The s300g & 62/65 have better turbines. There are exhaust brakes available for them that are right off the exhaust housing like the hx's.- Factory alarm question

So I've learned something over my years of messing with this stupid truck. Buy what you want once to end up where you want to be. I am a huge fan of running larger injectors and scaling them back. And vp trucks should have left the factory with 7x.010s. lol Forgot part of something. The sxe is an ok turbo. No better than the older ones. I'd suggest a s300g or 62/65/12.- TC lockup switch questions.
I usually lock it in 3rd and continue on my day. With od off it should stay locked until you touch the brake pedal. Your ground sounds fine.- trreed's upgrade thread

I bet you got the wrong wire. There are a couple orange with blacks in the harness bundle. ALL the pcm connectors are the same from 96-02. There are no differences I have ever found and poured over diagrams trying to find differences. I go right to the pcm C2 pin b11. Come away from the connector approx. 4"s and tap into the wire. Run wire into the cab to my switch and then from the switch to either the dash structure or column bolt. You will not have 2nd gear lockup with a stock vb. Even with the selector in D.- LED Headlights
Ah schweet. OK middle pic is pnp leds. You can see the hot spots. 1st and 3rd are the hids. I only was able to set cut off last night as far as being level. They need to come up quite a bit from the little bit of driving I did last night. And ignore the oil on the ground. Stupid gear box is leaking. Steering box should be here any day.- LED Headlights
