  1. Yes, the ambulances here all are GM/Chevrolet Products with the Duramax.
  2. This is what I do for a living......
  3. So, bigger is better for the exhaust. This is also why compounds work to boost overall performance. The smaller turbo boost at lower engine RPM, and the larger turbo takes over at higher RPMs.
  4. Here is a good reading about Aerodynamics.
  5. When you put in the drawstraw, did you have the tank on the floor or on some sawhorses. If on the floor, you probably have about and inch or two of fuel(4-6 gallons/1/4 tank issues) that you cannot use. When you are going up or down a grade, turning a corner, etc. the straw is pulling in air. Depending on the sump that you are going to use, you can mount the sump under the drawstraw and use a longer DS to go all the way to the bottom of the sump. This willl keep the end of the drawstraw covered, not allowing your lift pump to suck air, also eliminating the chance that you will have any insurance coverage problems or D.O.T. problems. I looked at the Hellman Sump, and saw that this attaches to the bottom of the tank and has a outlet for fuel at the side. This would only give the lift pump added benefit if the tank is full, as the liquids would go to the same level. They also state that this can be used on all vehicles. HTH
  6. Anything to make the wind/air go around/over, not thru, will help. Better MPG through aerodynamics.
  7. When I had my truck repainted, I had them paint that area black.
  8. Here you go, resetting the APPS.
  9. You need to do an APPS RESET. Also, you need to start looking into getting a new APPS, Timbo APPS are generally used by most on the sites.
  10. Where did you put your sensor? Before or after the fuel filter. You may just need to change your fuel filter.
  11. Here is a write up that I did for gauges.
  12. It is on the passenger side of the block, near the oil filter. It is a very tight squeeze, yet you can get your hand in there. HEATER_CABLE
  13. The mechanic does not know what he is saying. I have a '01 with 6 speed and the high idle and 3 cylinder idle work just fine.
  14. Putting in the gauges are very easy. If you have a little mechanical and electrical aptitude, you can do it easily enough. Just ask questions here and follow the instructions.
  15. It was on the server that Mike crashed.
  16. Do you have a locking fuel cap?????? The fuel may be disappearing this way.Is your oil getting thinner?? It could be leaking past the pump diaphragm/
  17. It seems that rogan needs some better explanations than"got it done in less than 15minutes". I would like one as well. Thanks
  18. Originial Window Sticker HP @ RPM
  19. Add anywhere between 200* to 300* to your EGT for your newer readings. You are using lots of fuel. You might think about going to a bigger tire to get a better ratio.
  20. What about the H.O. ratio of 17:1?
  21. That yellow cap is where the block heater cord attaches. Geno's has them.
  22. Awesome Trucks. Here is one that I like.
