  1. Thanks for the replies. Mainly, I was wondering if there is anything I would be able to bolt on or use a tuner to get better mileage. The wife has great driving habits, so those are good.
  2. Guys, I need some suggestions in order to get better fuel mileage from this vehicle. It was bought for a snow vehicle, yet the wifey wants to use it to go other places and we need to get better mileage.
  3. I ran mine through the grommet by the drivers door.
  4. I drilled mine post turbo as well. I ran this way for about a week and I couldn't get it above 1100*. As you can see from this picture, I used a pipe plug and a partial piece of a union that I cut off for a locking ring. And this is where I relocated it too.
  5. The tred seperated then the tire blew. You had a broken belt in the tire. Those tires should have been changed yesterday.
  6. Here is an article on Death Wobble
  7. When braking, do you feel a little bit of pulsing through the pedal?Have you had to do any hard braking lately? If any of these are true, you have warped rotors.
  8. Check the tire for a broken belt. This will cause only one side to feel like the 'death wobble'. There will be a bulge in the middle of the tire if it broken.
  9. Voted as well.Lots of luck!
  10. This is where I put mine with a mini add-a-fuse.
  11. Love the wall tent Russ. Mine is 12x16.
  12. This is the snubber hose that they are talking about. Make sure to get one that is 18" long, not 13" as you will not be able to mount it somewhere. When mounting the snubber hose, be sure to put a minimum 90* bend in it or the VP will hammer the sending unit to death. On my setup, I have a 180* bend in the snubber hose. This is the full setup for the fuel pressure gauge, before it is mounted in the truck. Get a Tapped Banjo Bolt to put the snubber in place. Get a Boost Bolt and there is no tapping anything. You just remove a plenum bolt and put it in. Tighten to 18 inch pounds.
  13. gloShift gauge? which is the top one? On the 3 pillar pod, the top one is not use, just filled with a gauge, middle is the 3-in-1(boost, EGT, fuel pressure), bottom is oil temp. The Tom Tom is held on magnetically to the pillar post, with a piece of metal glued to the inside, and magnets glued to the bottom of the GPS unit. This way I can use it in my JEEP also.
  14. I use Tom Tom.
  15. Professional MW3 player also.
  16. Have you tried to scan for codes?
  17. I know that you load tested your batteries last week, but they are possibly 5 years old and have a slow load/leak/discharge. Have you tried to start the truck when warm and on a battery charger? What is your fuel pressure to the CP3?What is your rail pressure, check to see if the Dodge dealer did this?Have you checked all the electrical connections to the injectors? Is there fuel leaking out around the injectors or any connections?Check for continuity to all injectors, if possible.Others will chime in.
  18. In the First Response Scene for the last 18 years. Paramedic in a rural community. Worked construction for 10 years along with the First Response stuff. Past 8 years only as a Paramedic.
  19. The Dodge Dealer should be able to print you out a build sheet for the truck from the VIN. This will include everything that was put onto your truck.I tried to find it where you could do it electronically, but I couldn't. Yes the dealer can do it.
  20. Welcome to the family!
  21. The system pays for itself after 10k miles. The diesel must be over $3.50 per gallon and propane must be below $2.30 per gallon. Mine has been paid for and now I am reaping the benefits.
  22. Depending on speed, anywhere from 3-5 MPG.
  23. I get about 3:1 diesel to propane, or about 90 gallons of diesel to 12 gallons of propane. Remember that propane increases in it gaseous state for 1 gallon to about 270 gallons. So, I use about 810 gallons of gaseous propane to 30 gallons of diesel, or 27 gallons of gaseous propane to 1 gallon of diesel.
